Going to the Academy

"Urghh." Yasui groaned as he felt the sore pain all over his body. He continued his walk to school on this brand-new day. The Academy had allowed him and Sasuke to take a break for a few days before returning.

Who knows what Sasuke was doing, but he certainly didn't stay lax these few days. After training for a whole day, he managed to make the shadow clone technique work perfectly. It's just a pity that his current chakra limit is extremely pitiful. He needed to train and grow up for its capacity to rise.

At max, he could only create three shadow clones. Compared to Naruto who could make thousands, his chakra reserve definitely isn't something incredible.

Nonetheless, he still knew how to efficiently use the shadow clone thanks to his knowledge of the canon.

While he trained his physical body with his main body, his three shadow clones practiced chakra control and basic Uchiha Ninjutsu. If his shadow clones could also train physically, he would've made them do it while he rests.

It's too bad that shadow clones could only transmit back mental knowledge. Even so, the transfer of knowledge is already overpowered by itself. As long as he keeps this kind of schedule up, his development will be way faster than his peers.

Other than training… Yasui sighed and touched the remaining 1000 Ryo in his pocket.

Broke! He already became broke! The 10,000 Ryo that was supposed to last him a month didn't even last him a few days. The reason is that other than the organ chemicals, he had bought a Chakra nature testing paper and that stuff ain't cheap.

Plus, he also nourished his body with plenty of fresh protein and vegetables. Considering that there were still three whole weeks left until the next monthly stipend, he worried about his daily expense.

Must he really eat dirt? Yasui lamented at this thought. Nah, if push comes to shove, he wouldn't actually eat dirt. Eating grass is a better idea.

As Yasui arrived at the Academy, many other kids also arrived. When he searched his memories before, he found out that he is actually in the same class as Naruto and Sasuke.

"Everyone's so small," Yasui muttered to himself when he saw his classmates. It's not like he's any taller than the other students, but this seriously gave him elementary school vibes.

As Yasui entered the classroom, he saw that a few little girls looked over with sparkly eyes. As for the reason? It's because his genetic package was rather well-built and put on display. These lolis were probably window shopping for their boyfriends.

Yasui shrugged inwardly and continued to walk to the front of the room. That's where the cool kids sat nowadays. It's a statement that he had to make.

Hah! That's not it at all. Yasui just wanted to be seated in the best place for the class lecture. He didn't want to stare at heads while he learned stuff.

He sat down and closed his eyes, waiting for the instructor to come in. Though he still heard the ongoing chatter from the students, and he would feel gazes which are directed at him from time to time.

Suddenly, Yasui perked his ear up when he heard three lolis talking smack at the back of the classroom.

"Hello, everyone! Naruto Uzumaki is here!"

Yasui's eyelids blinked open as a golden-haired boy came into view. His blue eyes were as colorful as the sky without clouds, and his face is marked with a smile that was as bright as the sun.

Yasui knew that Naruto could hear the whispers coming from the girls in the back of the room, but it seems that those negative comments didn't even register in Naruto's mind.

"What a way to announce one's existence." Yasui thought to himself. In all his life, he had never seen a person who had such a cheerful disposition.

"Oi, move."

"It's Sasuke!"

"So cool…"

Naruto paused when he heard the cold voice behind him in addition to the sudden change in tones of the girls in the classroom. As he moved back subconsciously and turned around, he saw Sasuke Uchiha–Mr. Popular! He frowned after having his spotlight taken away and ground his teeth.

"What's with him acting so cool!?" Naruto grumbled in his mind.

Sasuke didn't want to deal with the idiotic Naruto and walked passed him.

When Yasui scrutinized Sasuke's face, he found that that guy's face is as cold as ice. His eyes were filled with hatred.

Feeling a strong gaze on him, Sasuke looked over and saw the other Uchiha student in his class… Yasui Uchiha!

They had parted ways for a few days, and Sasuke didn't know what that guy did this whole time. Personally, he took the time to think about everything in his room and questioned why his older brother Itachi would do such a thing to the clan.

It's at this moment that Yasui wanted to open his mouth and get into another verbal argument with Sasuke. But just as he opened his mouth to speak, Sasuke turned his face around like a tsundere and went to sit in his own seat.

If you don't want to talk then fine. Yasui rolled his eyes.

But… he saw the golden-haired boy glaring at him with mischievous eyes.

What the heck does Naruto want with me? Yasui also glared back at Naruto and copied his strange behavior.

Seeing that he triggered a response, Naruto made his face even funnier by popping his lower lip out.

As a response… Yasui tilted his head and squinted one of his eyes… returning a humorous questioning face.

"Ow!" Naruto yelped as a packet of paper slammed down on his head. Both Yasui and Naruto stopped their tomfoolery that very instant.

"Get to your seat, Naruto!" Iruka the instructor sighed as he entered the classroom. He had been teaching this class for a while, and Naruto made him very tired with his silly antics.

"That hurts, Iruka sensei!" Naruto complained as he droopily picked a seat at the back of the room next to Shikamaru and Choji.

Iruka stepped to the front of the classroom and began his lecture of the day; the focus of the class was to learn a brief introduction to the basics of fuinjutsu, aka sealing techniques.

When Yasui listened to this, he was fascinated by the topic. Not only are sealing techniques very practical, but they are also extremely interesting.

When Iruka taught this, though… he found that many of his students were not interested in the topic at all.
