I chuckled inside as she jumped back and glared at me through her mask. She couldn't do anything, as according to her, it was supposed to be an accident.
Even though I felt bad, I honestly needed this incident and that touch, or else I would slowly start to really loose my mind.
Although this place maybe a dream come true to all the fans of the show, it's not fun to fall from a tree, get beaten up or to see people kill you in your head.
I needed fun like this to survive. Although I know that it made her feel uncomfortable and it isn't my nature to take advantage of women, but I couldn't help it.
She immediately went back to her usual professional self and said "Don't worry, you were in the world of genjutsu. It takes a while to realize that it's not real.
All you have to do is observe the surroundings properly. The user usually gives out a minute mistake that will tell you that you are under genjutsu.
Keep practicing for now kids." she again sent us to genjutsu world. This time, it was a pleasant look of mountains and forests around a clear Lake.
This time, even though I had to undo the genjutsu, I didn't want to leave. This was a place from my earth I visited. It was amazing.
After admiring the view and recalling all the fun times, I got into releasing myself from the genjutsu.
I was told to circulate and correct the chakra flow to escape it. I tried doing it and surprisingly, it wasn't that tough.
After a few trials, I managed to undo the genjutsu. The instructor told me that usually, genjutsu users show the target traumatizing things so that they won't be able to undo the genjutsu properly.
I think she was right. The pleasing atmosphere was able to get me to concentrate easily whereas, the first genjutsu didn't even let me circulate chakra to escape.
She put me under genjutsu, slowly increasing the reality and the horror felt. And as expected, I couldn't escape.
She then dismissed us and as we were walking to our ninjutsu trainer, Danzo appeared before the instructor and asked "How did he do?"
The instructor immediately knelt down and said "Danzo-sama, it seems like he still has some fears. I suspect that there are fragments of memories left inside which were traumatic for him."
"Hmm.... use your genjutsu to your advantage. Show him that there is nothing to fear here. Root ninjas shouldn't have any emotions and especially fear. We can't have any ninja with fear." Danzo said and disappeared.
I heard the conversation and sighed in relief. I was scared that he saw her shout. They would start going mad thinking that she had emotions.
Although they were trained to have no emotions, that's what led her to this state. This was my theory, but I think it was reasonable and maybe correct.
They were brought here at a young age, Kaze told me this. So from childhood, no woman in root was involved in sexual activities. This made the sensitive and a single touch was all I needed to make her feel something.
Since the other kids were under genjutsu when she shouted, I was lucky that no one heard her shout. If anyone did and did something to her, I would be guilty.
We then walked to our ninjutsu instructor and while we were walking there, Kaze shot a smile at me. That was unexpected. I had never seen any emotion on his face.
I wanted to confirm again, to check if what I saw wasn't just me imagining things, but we were already at another training ground.
This was different from the ones I visited before. It was huge and there were many craters scattered almost everywhere.
(This is where I realized that I messed up. I totally forgot about shuriken and kunai training. I will try to insert it in the taijutsu training. Sorry about this.)
Another root ninja with someone bird mask and weird patterns arrived before us. He looked at us and said "I won't teach the basics again as they were taught in your theory lessons, but since this is a first class for someone, I will introduce myself.
I am the only ninja who managed to learn three elements jutsu in the base. We will start with the training right away.
You are already taught that learning any elemental jutsu that isn't of kekkei genkai isn't easy. So for now, focus on the jutsu that don't involve nature change.
The basic ones being body replacement technique, clone technique, transformation technique and the cloak invisibility technique.
Among these, the cloak invisibility technique and the body replacement technique don't use chakra and anyone can learn them after a little bit of practice.
The other two require hand sign and chakra. I will teach you the basics and demonstrate it once. You can practice it yourself later."
After he finished explaining, he demonstrated those techniques and left us to practice by ourselves.
That's when I actually saw Kaze practice, as till now except physical training, he and I never trained together.
And I was amazed by his talent. He could easily make a clone and also transform into anyone he wants. He only practiced for 10-20 minutes and sat in a corner.
He brought out a memo and started writing something. There were also other kids besides me, but I couldn't recognize them as they were not in the show.
But one kid, who was 10 years old, stood out. He could easily do the jutsu taught and after he was done practicing those, he did some hand sign.
Wood started coming out of the ground. That's when I recognized him, He was the only wood jutsu user alive. The only successful experiment of Orochimaru, Yamato or Kinoe as they call him here.
Wow, I didn't expect that I would find him here. I was whacking my brain as to when I was brought to this world. I needed something to refer to, but I got nothing.
No news of the outside world. Although I met Kinoe here, it still isn't useful to know what is happening outside.
I decided to think about it later and focus on my training. Since I was curious as to what Kaze was writing, I decided to spy on him with the cloak invisibility technique.
Since we were underground, we were given cloaks that matched the terrain. I took one and moved towards Kaze without making any noise, to not alert him.
When I felt I was close enough that he could notice me, I used the technique and stood along the walls of the underground cave.
The technique was simple, use cloak for camouflage and don't move. You can move slightly everytime, but it also depends on what you are turned into. If you decide to disguise as a rock, it would be foolish to move, even a little.
But if using any wall or something else, moving slowly wouldn't let anyone discover you.
With that in mind, I moved towards Kaze, moving as slowly as possible. The cloaks are slightly translucent, to let the user see what's happening. But not that translucent.
You have to be very close and focus a lot to see through them. So, they are useful to an extent.
As I got closer to Kaze, moving as slow as possible, Kaze stopped writing and closed his memo. He said "Do you realize that you just started learning the technique and are not good I it."
I could tell that he was talking to me. I removed the cloak and asked "What gave me away?"
He said "You tried using the technique in a place which was illuminated with the lamp fires. That would give away your location. You need to use the darker areas to practice first, before coming out into the light."
Apparently, the whole training cave had fire lamps set up to illuminate the place. Since I was walking along the walls, the light casted my shadow and he found out. But I gotta tell, he is a great ninja.
