The fruits of the effort
After gaining enough power, since the last year, Esdeath was planning for the day along with Kurama. Although she failed to kill Danzo and destroy his eye, she managed to achieve most of her other goals. As soon as both she and Kurama landed in the border of land of whirlpool, Esdeath destroyed the sealing array in order to stop any attempt of tracking back her route of teleportation.
The other half of the nine tails was impressed. He praised his other have for gaining such a powerful ally.
After dismantling the permanent sealing array, both of them entered to the ruins of land of whirlpool. Kurama decided to stay with Esdeath for now since, he knew that the fake Madara was a truth threat. And ignoring him won't be good for him.
As both of them entered the no man's island, Kurama felt many sealing arrays still active in the various part of the ruins of the city they walked through.
But suddenly Esdeath stopped in her track.
A smile appeared in her face.
"Well it seems that my clone got at least one good catch." She muttered to herself.
Making the hand signs for shadow clone jutsu, see created at least five hundred clones of herself. As soon as they were created, they immediately dispersed. This plan of coming to the ruined land of Whirlpools, was proposed by Esdeath herself after he learnt what happened to this country from Kurama. And she was not going to be disappointed with her decision. For main reason for coming to this land was to search for any remaining knowledge of seals that might be hidden in the ruins. After the five hundred clones dispersed to scout the area, she created hundred more clones to secure the perimeter of the island and create a frozen barrier to protect the island as well as cut off the communication completely. She has been sending clones to this islands since last year. Slowly but surely, preparing for this day to come.
After reaching the centre of the island Esdeath let out a cold breath. Taking out a small scroll from her waist pocket, she unfolded it and placed it on the ground. Gathering her Chakra in her palm, she bent down and channel it into the seal.
Immediately the temperature around them dropped drastically and still went on dropping further. The ground shook below then as ice started appearing under their foot. Suddenly walls of ice appeared around them as a gigantic castle started forming in the middle of the island. The entire castle was made of ice.
Although it affected the area where the clone swear searching for different types of seals and ruins, they we are not hindered since they could freely control the ice themselves. By the time the castle was done, Esdeath's clones were also done forming the barrier around The Island.
Kurama was really impressed by the size of the castle. Even if he didn't like cold atmosphere, it was better than a Shinigami's stomach. Esdeath has also prepared special room for him with more temperature as well.
So he went to get comfortable in his room.
Esdeath too decided to relax a little.

The atmosphere in the meeting room was extremely solemn. The hidden leaf village was facing major crisis, one after another.
"Damage report." Hiruzen ordered the anbu standing beside him. He was not in a good mood. So everyone in the room was completely silent.
"Twenty nine civilians have died and more than three hundreds are recovering from frostbytes. Among them, fifty five's condition is severe while the rest are out of danger.
Among the shinobi, thirty seven genins, twenty one chunins, thirteen special jonins and one jonin have lost their lives.
Most of the casualties happened because these shinobi have stayed behind in order to ensure the safety of the civilians and non combatants. Total one hundred and sixty nine shinobis have suffered from Frost bites. But none of them are in critical condition.
Elite Jonin Kakashi Hatake is still missing.
Apart from this the entire village has turned into a frozen tundra." The shinobi finished reading the scroll.
The temperature in the village was increasing. But the rate and which it was increasing was very low. So even after three days, the temperature was still below zero degree. Which was hindering the cleaning process.
"Just as I was fearing....*sigh*. Aldo the good thing is, the low temperature is also making shinobis of other villages hesitant to attack us, it won't last long. What a drag..." Shikaku sighed.
"Hiruze-" Danzo was about to accuse his friend, but one look from Hiruzen was enough to shut him up.
Hiruzen was not in the mood of listening to his friend's nonsense.
"I have already called back Jiraya. We need to make sure that our village is strong enough so that no other village will dare to attack us right now. After ensuring our own safety we will think about the problem of our Jinjuriki. The number of shinobi, who has died, will be compensated. Fortunately only one jonin has died in this attack.
As Naruko was not a shinobi of our village we can't declare her as a missing nin. But let's give bounty of 20 millions on her head and 30 millions to hand her over alive in the black market. That's all we can do now. We will take further action once our condition is stabilized." Hiruzen's decision was final. His words left no room for argument.
"If I may... Hokage sama." Shikaku asked for the permission to speak.
"Speak." Hiruzen permitted him.
"Is it wise to declare an open bounty. Nine tails is possibly her ally. If any other village got the news about it, especially kumo, then it will be very risky." Shikaku spoke up.
"You are not wrong. But from her attitude do you think she will just join any other shinobi village ? And besides, once our condition is stabilized, I am thinking about sending Jiraya after her." Hiruzen answered.
Shikaku nodded in acknowledgement.
"Alright if nothing more to discuss, then this meeting is adjourned. We will be speeding up the cleanup process. So I hope everyone will be cooperative until we recover from this crisis." With those words Hiruzen ended the meeting.
