Chapter-9 Getting Hashirama's cell
The operation of getting Hashirama's cell went smoothly and he came out of root base in less than 10 minutes. He kept his distance from other root ninja as he did not know who might be a sensor ninja. He went to the research lab put people present there into genjutsu as there were no combat ninja present there, only people who does research for Danzo were there so putting them in genjutsu was easy. He did not leave any clues about the infiltration. With his mangekyou and his fuinjutsu it was not very difficult job for him. The only clue left was disappearance of the root ninja whose chakra he absorbed. There were no reason for Danzo to suspect Sasuke for this, Danzo would think that it was Hiruzen and since root was officially out of commission so Danzo cannot confront him about this. Sasuke already have good grasp of medical ninjutsu so he used two shadow clones to plant hashirama's cell on his body. Now all he needed was Itachi's mangekyou sharingan to evolve his sharingan to eternal mangekyou sharingan. In few years he will awaken rinnegan, like Madara Uchiha, and bring his parents back to life.
After getting the Hashirama's cells, Sasuke stop sneaking around and went back to fully focus on his training. One month passed by quickly and time for graduation came. Everyone passed except for Naruto, he was unable to perform clone jutsu. Sasuke was carefully keeping an eye on the upcoming event as it was important part of his plan. Mizuki approached Naruto, then Naruto stole the scroll of forbidden jutsu or more like allowed to steal it. Sasuke was observing this from a safe distance, he did not wanted to be caught by third Hokage and his crystal ball. Things will get complicated if Hokage found him sneaking around in the middle of all this.
He waited for the whole incident to be over and after Naruto gave the scroll to Iruka, He kept following Iruka. He thought it would be easy to put Iruka in genjutsu and learn the jutsus from scroll, but he decided against it as Hokage might keep an eye on Iruka through his crystal ball as he was only a chunin but once he hand the scroll over to the Anbu, Hokage will get relaxed. Only an idiot would ambush the Anbu instead of a chunin like Iruka. He was being extra cautious and tried to take as little risks as possible. He was not concern about So he waited till Iruka passed the scroll to Anbu. He was not concern about getting any trouble from that Anbu as he has more than enough confidence in his mangekyou sharingan. Then he ambushed the Anbu and quickly put him in genjutsu, followed by him copying everything on the scroll with his sharingan and get out of there after erasing the memory of anbu regarding this encounter. It took him less than a minute to copy the technique and leaving as if nothing has happened.
After coming back home he reviewed the techniques he copied from the scroll. There were four techniques in that scroll. First multi shadow clone jutsu, second flying thunder god jutsu of the fourth Hokage, third Edo tensei(impure world reincarnation) and fourth dead demon seal which fourth Hokage use to seal the yin half of kurama with him. He decided to focus only on 'impure world reincarnation' for now, as the next part of his plan involved this technique.
In the last four year Sasuke not even once attended the academy. He did not try to change the plot, except for few differences nothing much changed. First thing was, he have good relationship with Guy. He respected him as he was the strongest person in the world right now, and Guy also liked Sasuke because of his determination and hard work showed in his training. Rock Lee has declared Sasuke as his rival. Sasuke did not have any interactions with Neji or Tenten from team Guy. Kakashi and third Hokage knew Sasuke was stonger than any chunin but they did not have clear idea of his strength. From what Guy told them, no chunin can compete with him taijutsu.
Lastly Sasuke has a good love-hate relationship with Naruto. They always competed in different things, more like Sasuke let Naruto compete with him. He also give him pointers during their spar, he did not make a training schedule for Naruto but he let Naruto know about his harsh training method so now Naruto also started to train like him, he was determined to beat Sasuke and show Sakura that he was the best. Sasuke did not train him in chakra control or ninjutsu but in terms of taijutsu, even a chunin cannot compete with Naruto. Sasuke always criticize Naruto for different things. Like one time he saw him eating ramen so he commented that "no wonder you are a midget, you only eat unhealthy food." After that day he start calling Naruto "Loser midget" which annoyed Naruto so much that he started eating healthy food. Due to Sasuke's action Naruto's determination to beat Sasuke up exceeded all limits which led to Naruto working hard in his training and he barely have time to pull pranks on villagers. Sometimes Sasuke join Naruto in pulling some pranks but before they get caught or seen by anyone else, Sasuke always vanishes which led to Naruto being caught alone and no one ever believe him that Sasuke was also with him. This makes Naruto frustrated with anger but still every time Sasuke invite him for such things he always joins him. Although Naruto both won't admit it but Sasuke was his best friend. As for Sasuke, being a reincarnated person and Naruto fan he was not going to lose opportunity to become friends with his favourite character. Now being friend with Naruto and actually watching the way people treats him, his hatred for the manipulating Hokage and cancer of leaf Danzo increase even more. He often wonders how Naruto turn out to be such a good person. Maybe he underestimated Hokage's manipulation level.
