Naruto & Business

"Alright old man I'm heading out" I said to Hiruzen but the old bastard was laying on the floor with his shirt off. I shake my head and make my way to the door thinking 'hope he doesn't come asking for more'. Once the door opens a cloud of smoke starts to fill the hallway. "He is fine just a bit high" I say to the anbu in the shadows then head home.

Walking the streets of Konoha I see a blonde kid with blue eyes walking ahead of me and make my way over. "Hey kid were you headed?"

The kid seems surprised that I'm talking to him and looks around just to make sure that there weren't any other kids in the area. "you talking to me?" The kid asked. "who the hell else would I be talking to, what's your name kid?"

"Name's Naruto Uzumaki and why do you smell so bad?" Oh yeah this shit does stink to first timers, I just ignore his question. "What are you doing out at this time, you know what that doesn't matter I'm starving and have decided that your coming with me. So, know anywhere to get some good food?"

"You want to eat with me? Well since you asked I know this amazing place follow me". As we walk together people are staring at us and Naruto seems to ignore it all but I can see his shoulders slump a little. "what's wrong Naruto?" I ask and he looks at me and shakes his head,

"Nothing why do you ask?" I guess he is a little wary of me but that's understandable as he has no friends and very few wish to talk to him. "If you say so kid" I say as we arrive at the iconic Ichiraku Ramen. As we enter a girl slightly older than me I think spots Naruto and says,

"Hey Naruto I see you found your way back here again, well come on in and who is your friend?" Naruto smiles at her and says "Ayame-san I would never miss an opportunity to eat ramen, and I met this guy on the streets. He asked for a good place to eat and I brought him here, see how I bring you more business". As we sit Naruto orders his usual and I get what he's having and dig in, I must say that this is some good stuff.

When i finish Naruto is on his third bowl, I don't think he chews the noodles, "I'll have another miss" I say to Ayame and by the time i get my second bowl Naruto is on his fifth. The little monster finally finished eating after nine bowls, where did it all go? Ayame comes over with her father and I thank them for the wonderful meal.

Teuchi said "thank you sir, I'm glad it was to your liking and thanks for treating little Naruto here", I shake my head and reply "no need to call me sir as I'm only fifteen". With that revelation they were all shocked, I left some more money for Naruto's tab and left right after. I don't know why I did that, spur of the moment I guess.

A few months later I had a training building built with increased gravity and had the pack train religiously, when they weren't on mission they were here building there strength. In this time I've been training alongside them and working on the time dilation seal and I'm close to a breakthrough. I'v eaten out with Naruto every once in a while and he seems to have warmed up to me, I just wanted to establish a relationship early so he sees me as a brother figure. I even had him come over for dinner a few times and let him know he is always welcome in the compound.

As I already let the clan know about him and that he is no danger they treated him like an ordinary kid, if anything they treat him well as he is a friend of the clan head and alpha. They had no reason to believe I would allow a danger into the clan so they were easily accepting of things.

Right now I'm in my living room laying my head on Isako's lap while Sayo is giving Naruto a lecture on medicine and he looks like he wants to sleep but she won't let him. "Sayo let the boy be, not everyone is as fascinated with medicine as you are". Naruto looked over to me with such gratitude, "oh fine, are you staying for the night Naruto? or should I have Mu take you home"

Naruto smiles and says "I'll stay the night Sayo nee-chan" he said and Sayo had him take a shower while we stayed in the living room. "Sayo how has the serum been going?" she smiles at us and says "it's coming along well actually, so far I think I can increase overall body performance, were looking at a thirty percent increase in all physical abilities. Unfortunately the highest I can achieve at the moment is fifty percent".

I nod "that's fine it's more than I expected, let's give the thirty percent to the pack and fifty for us. You know what while Naruto sleeps give him a ten percent boost, I'm close to finishing my work on the time dilation seal then we can really get to work on increasing the strength of the pack. By the way did you finish the recovery pills yet?"

"I have actually, they work perfectly and will recover any non fatal wounds in seconds" Sayo replies. Isako is scratching my scalp with her nails ever so gently and I'm having a tough time staying awake, "that's good, we nearly have all the pieces" I say. "Any activity from Danzo?" Isako asks. I shake my head in the negative, "he hasn't made any moves against us yet but I don't doubt he's planning something. The compound is secure but the problem is when our clan members leave the boundary, I'm working on a new seal that will act as a defensive shield that will activate against all jutsu and teleport the bearer back to the compound. As long as they don't leave the village and the jutsu is not above B rank then they will be fine."

After talking for a little longer about the girls day we head to bath then sleep. The next day I headed to the Akimichi clan to speak with the head about business. Once there I'm brought to Choza Akimichi and he looks like a bigger version of Choji, I greet him with a nod "good morning Choza, I would like to run a business proposition by you".

"Oh, and what kind of business proposition do you have in mind?" he replies. "Well I have been working on improving the effects of the food pills that your clan is known for, I have been able to modify it a bit and increased it's effectiveness by fifteen twenty percent."

He looks shocked and quickly asks "if this is true than it will be a great boon for my clan. What would be the price for it?" I nod and reply "I would give you the formula and ask for a forty percent cut of all profits made with it".

After a short time to finalize the deal we talk for a bit and then I bid farewell. The whole purpose of this was to get more money for the clan and to make stronger connections with other clans, right now I'm heading towards the Hyuga compound. The guards stop me and question my purpose for coming here, "I am the Inuzuka clan head Muzaka, I would like an audiance with Hiashi"

After a few minutes I am brought to a meeting room with Hiashi and it's just the two of us, "please have a seat Muzaka". Once seated he asks me "now why have you come seeking an audience with me?" I lower my head at him and reply "I would like to apologize for what I said at the last meeting and for not coming sooner to do so".

He is surprised at my actions "there is no need for you to go that far, I understand the point you were trying to make"

I pull out a tea set with ingredients made by myself "do you mind if we have a drink?" He nods his consent and I begin to pour us each a cup and we drink. "this is really amazing tea, and the smell is extremely pleasant as well, where did you get this?" he asks me and i reply "I made it myself, I will leave some with you".

"Thank you I would like that" he says. While we drank we spoke for some time about many different topics, I always knew from the show that he was actually a nice guy but as a leader he has to make difficult decisions. Many people thought he was an asshole and way too cruel to his kids, especially Hinata, but those people have fuck all understanding of what it means to be a leader. Add to that the fact the older members of the clan and just about everybody else was stuck in there ways so yeah.

After a pleasant afternoon of just talking I headed home to get back to work. Once home I got back to the grind and I think I should should have it done in about a week. "I should have Naruto get me some dango".
