Chūnin exam stage 3

Uchiha Fugaku is pacing back and forth in his house, "Mikoto you need to make haste or else we are gonna be late. First match is Hiroto's" he called out to his wife and praying not to be late.

A few minutes later his wife arrived with their youngest son and soon they arrived at the stadium to see a large crowd and betting arenas.

"Who are you betting on? I placed the bet on Uchiha Itachi. Have you heard he is said to be a genius?" A random civilian said.

"Yeah I heard, but I also heard Uzumaki Hiroto is also not any less than the Uchiha kid. They are offering pretty good odds on him" Another citizen said.

Like this many discussions are happening around the stadium. Fugaku heard these discussions and had a proud smile on his face but quickly covered it up. Fugaku arrived inside the stadium and sat at their seats, he found an acquaintance near their seats. Fugaku greeted the genius of his clan "Shisui where is Kakashi?".

"He is bringing Naruto along with him, you know Kakashi-san is always late" Shisui answered his clan head. True to his words Kakashi arrived with a blonde whiskered kid in tow and along with him came his eternal rival in his signature green spandex Maito Gai, "Shisui don't make me blush, Fugaku-san good to meet you".

Mikoto and Sasuke rushed to meet Naruto while the other three chatted among themselves waiting for the match to start.

Hiroto, Itachi, and Anko are waiting patiently for the match to start. Hiroto is looking around the venue searching for his little brother in the sea of people he found their sensei along with his friends completing the famous trio, Itachi tapped his childhood friend's shoulder and pointed in another direction toward Naruto.

Hiroto found Naruto with his bestfriend's family along with Kakashi and Shisui, seeing his little brother his desire to win skyrocketed.

Hizuren arrived with Danzo and their other two former teammates, now council members of Konoha village, and sat in the VIP room next to the Fire Daimyo and other Kusa members.

Aburame Shibi arrived in the center of the field and soon all the voices of the crowd died down. "Let's begin the first match, the contestants please come down" Shibi said in a loud voice without any trace of emotion.

Hiroto entered the field and stood facing the Kusa genin and soon as "Start" is heard Hiroto rushed forward and knocked the opponent out in a few seconds using only his taijutsu.

No sound is heard and the crowd started to cheer loudly at this show of strength and soon the field is cleared.

In the VIP room, "Congratulations Hokage on nurturing another good seed" Fire Daimyo said to the third Hokage.

Hizuren thanked the Daimyo for his compliments.

Shibi called for the next match participants and Yūgao won this match using ninjutsu to knock the dog of the Inuzuka genin out cold and dealt with the genin himself with her sword making him surrender, the crowd also got very happy and cheered loudly for this entertaining fight by the genin.

In the next match, Itachi used shurikenjutsu and kept his opponent from the Nara clan on his toes and he used kunai as a distraction and used body flicker jutsu to get near the opponent and win by knockout. Itachi's match made the crowd cheer loudly at seeing the famed Uchiha clan's genius in action. In the next match, Kusa genin won after a tiring match against Konoha genin and the audience appreciated the effort both the genin put into the match.

Anko entered the stage next and she washed the floor with her opponent not losing to her teammates by completing the match in less than a minute. This match made the crowd eager to see who will win the showdown between these geniuses. The next match is between a Hyūga genin and Uchiha genin, just the name of both of these clans are enough to make everyone anticipate how the match outcome will be.

True to their expectations both the genins used their dōjutsu since the beginning of the match and both squared off for nearly half an hour using all the jutsus in their arsenal, the Hyūga genin finally clinched the victory after blocking all the chakra points of the opponent.

"A five-minute break and the next round will begin" Shibi announced after declaring the winner of the previous match.

In the VIP room, the ones from Kusa are livid as their genins save for one didn't put up much of a fight but they can only watch as Konoha is recognized as the strongest village and they are envious why can't their village have a genius of their own.

"Uzumaki Hiroto and Uzuki Yūgao start the fight" Shibi announced the match to begin.

"Hiroto I've heard you are good with the sword. If you don't mind can I challenge you to a duel with swords?" Yūgao asked her friend.

Hiroto thought it over and took his sword out of the storage seal on his wrist, and said "I accept".

Yūgao also took her sword out and both of them dashed at each other with their swords.

The audience watched in awe as sparks flew from the swords clashing. Yūgao from the first block of Hiroto's sword felt their physical strength is keeping her at a disadvantage, she tried to put more strength into it but her stamina is taking a hit. Yūgao wanted to use technique to overcome the disparity in strength but Hiroto is also not lacking in that department so she kept these worries at the back of her mind and wanted to have a good swordfight even if she loses today.

Fugaku watched the sword fight with awe as he saw a shadow of his bestfriend in his son, he looked at Kakashi and said "You taught him your clan techniques Kakashi?". "I didn't know you are familiar with Hatake clan sword techniques Fugaku-san" Kakashi replied. "I watched your father and Hiroko was also taught the same techniques by your father, Hiroko mixed both the whirlpool kenjutsu style of the Uzumaki clan and your Hatake clan techniques to make his own sword style so I am familiar with those styles" Fugaku gave a reply and turned his eyes back to the fight. Kakashi nodded to the response and he too glued his eyes back to the match. No one paid attention to Naruto as he got new information that he has a clan and him mumbling about it.

Hiroto and Yūgao are clashing their swords for nearly five minutes, Hiroto noticed a flaw in her attack and parried it successfully and held the sword to his opponent's throat.

"I surrender" Yūgao admitted defeat and the crowd cheered loudly as they got to see a different style of fighting.

In the VIP room, "Lord Hokage it seems this brat is very skilled in kenjutsu, give him a few years and he might match my samurai guards in sword skills" Fire Daimyo praised.

Hizuren just gave a smile in response.

A moment later the Daimyo asked, "I noticed a few similarities, I couldn't help but ask if he is related to Konoha's Red Fang Uzumaki Hiroko?".

"Yes, Daimyo-sama Hiroto is his son" Hizuren answered.

"HAHAHA... I want to see him when he grows up" Daimyo said.

Itachi congratulated his friend on the win when he is going down for the match, he hoped he could also enjoy his next match like his friend.

"Match start" Shibi announced the start of the fight.

"I am not like those two idiots, I will knock you out and humiliate your villa.."

Itachi's eyes turned to sharingan and performed genjutsu on his opponent and won the match as he couldn't hear anymore shit from his opponent.

The audience laughed at this and the Kusa officials in the VIP room had to hide their faces in shame.

Anko came down for her match and stood facing her opponent who is from the Hyūga clan, she rushed at her opponent making the Hyūga genin curse her for being stupid.

Anko and Hyūga genin are engaged in a taijutsu spar just as he was about to activate his dōjutsu and block Anko's chakra points he felt a slither on his neck.

"That's the most poisonous snake I can summon once it bites you can only survive for about five minutes if you don't kill yourself before and you can handle the pain. So surrender or .." Anko's speech was cut short by a fearful voice saying "I surrender..I surrender " she sighed in dejection and held the snake in her hands taking it off his neck.

"Mitarashi Anko wins" Shibi announced and the Hyūga genin knees buckled in fear, he deadpanned as he heard Anko's coaxing "Don't worry Chishina I will provide another prey to you".

Aburame Shibi said in a loud voice "As there are an odd number of candidates, a number is drawn for the next round to sit out" he paused and wanted to continue but was interrupted.
