Ch. 10 Inextinguishable Flame

'Lightning Oppression Horizontal Chop'

At that moment, Ai releases the grip of his right hand and straightens his fingers mimicking a blade. Similar to the downward attack by Susanoo earlier, he sends a slash fill with thunderous might aiming toward Susanoo's head.

Boom!!!

The air was yet again cut with Ai's speed. Shockwave bellowed forcing the surroundings to submit to its might as Ai continued his attack on Susanoo. All of this is just to prove that there is no defense he can't break. He continues to attack in all ways and forms as Susanoo with Shin within it stood undamaged.

Sparks of lightning crackle and thunderous sounds fill the air as Ai's attack reaches its target. The display is breathtaking causing doubt, horror, and awe to fill that spectator on both sides. A few minutes have passed since the first attack but just seconds within those minutes, Ai has launched multiple blows towards Susanoo with no effect whatsoever.

As the seconds pass, Ai's face darkens even more so. Seeing his attack means useless, he stops and stands a few meters away from Susanoo's position and his eyes fix on Shin's expressionless face. He gritted his teeth and clenches his fist drawing blood. He failed to break it.

" Is that all? From what I can see, you did try to break in by focusing your attack on a single point. An imploring tactic I might say, nothing personal considering your reputation. Since you have finished your emotional agenda, I'll be attacking. Again, you might need your brother's support if you don't want to be hurt badly." Shin said breaking the silence between them.

Ai gritted his teeth showing his displeasure towards Shin's words; " No matter how highly you speak of yourself, you're still a coward hiding behind a shell. And your attack is meaningless because I am still faster than you. Let's continue and see who falls first."

" Ha ha ha, you know how to joke around Son of The Third." Shin laughed covering half of his face with his hand and the other half of his face had his eyes closed. The next second, he opens his closed eye and focuses on Ai.

'Amaterasu'

In canon, every time this form of offense was used. The attacker will have blood flow from their eye that had obtained this jutsu when they awaken their Mangekyo Sharingan. But Shin is different. He awakens his Mangekyo Sharingan through the System, thus he has no negative effect that comes when acquiring his Mangekyo Sharingan. The only drawback is he doesn't know how to obtain the next step since he doesn't know if he has any family members left if it is possible since he is not the original Shin.

Ai stood there in a daze. For some reason, he couldn't move when he heard the name of the attack that was launched toward him; " Have I become careless?"

Suddenly, a giant tentacle wraps around him and the next moment he feels a great heat as he is pulled away from where he is standing.

Ai snapped out of his daze when he heard a roar coming from his side and saw his brother on his knees. His brother is in agony but the voice was not his, it was the Biju.

That instant, a Kumo ninja launched a Suiton Jutsu at the raging black flame intending to take it out so no further damage was made but the jutsu collapsed the moment it reached the cursed flame. To make it worse, the black flame becomes even more violent. Bee's screams become louder as a huge chakra burst from him.

" Man, I am jealous. Now I want a biju for myself. Well, it has gone on for long enough. Let's end this." Shin spoke in a murmur as he focused on Bee's face, more precisely his eyes. Waiting for the moment for him to open his eyes and when he did...

'Tsukuyomi'

Bee stiffened as he made eye contact with Shin. His body slumped as his eyes clouded. The next moment he realizes he is not at the place he once was, he was in a dark place with empty houses around him. The sky was dyed red with black clouds floating about. Not recognizing where he is, Bee tries to move but he can't. Looking at himself, he saw that he was tied to a pole with his weapons scattered around him. He try to call his partner, Hachibi, but there was no response.

As Bee tried all he can to get himself free, he heard a voice. A voice he recognizes despite just meeting him not a while ago.

"There is no use to struggling, you can't get out of that binding no matter how hard you try,

Jinchūriki sama. The proud owner of Hachibi sama." Shin said as he emerge from the ground and not just him there are many of him surrounding Bee. When all Shin fully emerge they have a short blade in their hands.

"Alright, thanks for 2 things. First, so that I don't need to struggle and buy my time. Second, to call me and my partner by the respectful title that we deserve." Bee said as he started to sweat looking around him at least 20 Shin with a blade in hand. Killer Bee prays that his brother can get him out of this genjutsu fast because he has a bad feeling about what's gonna happen next.

"No need to thank me for you will struggle but from the pain this time," Shin speaks in reply as he and the others move towards Bee. When the distance is within reach, Bee was stabbed by Shin from all sides causing him to scream. When the blades were pulled out, Bee noticed he was healing. It confuses him but the next moment he was stabbed again from all sides. Now Bee realizes, he started to scream for his brother for his partner to do something, anything to make this cycle stop. Bee continues to scream as he is stabbed and healed.

When the Suiton Jutsu didn't work and the flame started to spread. Ai cut off the tentacle that was burning, kicking it aside the tentacle on fire was reduced to ashes.

Ai realized his brother was too quiet, he looked at his brother and found him to be in a daze and now he was placed under a genjutsu. Ai places his hand on Bee's head, he pushes his chakra with the hope to break the genjutsu. Ai knows Uchiha is infamous for being a Genjutsu Master. It didn't work and Bee is still in a daze. Panicking, Ai did everything in the book to break his brother from the genjutsu.

" It's no use Ai sama. You can't break my genjutsu unless you kill me. The other option is to retreat but that's not available right now." Shin smiled looking at Ai's panicking face.

"Ai sama? What is he trying to imply here?" Ai thought as he stood up and took a few steps forward and spoke to reply; " You know you can't kill me despite my mission and the war right?" Shin simply nodded and smiled.

" Let's make a trade for your brother's freedom. The Chakra Mode jutsu is all I ask." Shin speaks but before Ai can counter Shin cut him off and said; "Let's not argue, the time your brother under my genjutsu is different. Who knows how long it has been? Maybe a month or years since I placed him under."

Ai's face turns pale realizing the implication that Shin was trying to point out. Ai stays silent, contemplating his next action.

The remaining Kumo ninja speck one after another trying to convince Ai that the trade isn't worth taking. The Jutsu is the village secret technique that only the people of The Lightning Village can obtain.

"Ai sama, please bring Bee sama away and retreat. We will hold him off as long as we can. Please, Ai sama."
