Chapter 2: A Healer's Journey Begins

"Hello, Dear Host, the Doctor's Benevolence System has been installed and will serve you wholeheartedly!"

Tetsuya Kamiyo was left speechless. He had accepted that he would be mediocre all his life, and now a system had appeared? And a very simple one at that, with no intelligence—just a few basic responses.

After several rounds of experimentation, he roughly understood the system's functions. The Doctor's Benevolence System, as its name suggested, was related to curing diseases and saving people. As long as Tetsuya used the healing techniques provided by the system to treat others, he could randomly extract attributes, ninjutsu, and even bloodline limits from the patient. If he drew repeated ninjutsu, they would convert into experience points to improve his proficiency. He could also earn benevolent points, used to buy items in the system's store. The quantity of points and attributes extracted depended on the patient's identity, status, and strength.

Opening the system's store, Tetsuya's eyes widened at the possibilities:

Tetsuya couldn't help but drool a little, but the zero points balance reminded him he was still a pauper.

"Is this supposed to make me develop into a medical ninja?" he wondered aloud. The ninja world was full of battles, with many retiring due to injuries every year. With this system, Tetsuya realized he could stay in the hospital for a few years, slowly extracting attributes, and eventually become a Kage-level powerhouse. By the time the Fourth Great Ninja War came around, he would be strong enough to survive, and maybe even become a Six Paths tier ninja.

"If I play my cards right, I could become someone to be reckoned with," he mused.

"Let's test the system's capabilities first," he decided, picking up a kunai lying nearby. Without hesitation, he made a small cut on his arm. Bright red blood trickled down, and he winced at the pain.

"Heal!" he commanded. A green light enveloped his palm, and within seconds, the bleeding stopped, and the wound disappeared. Only the bloodstain remained as evidence.

"This healing technique is amazing!" Tetsuya marveled, noting that the system's healing technique was activated through Chakra, much like advanced medical ninjutsu, but consumed very little Chakra.

"System, I can heal myself, but what about attribute extraction and point rewards?" he asked.

The system remained silent for a moment before responding, "Host treats one person and gains physical fitness plus 0.3. Thank you, Host, for discovering the bug. You will not gain points or attributes if you heal yourself in the future. Reward: Host Novice Pack!"

Tetsuya sighed. "So, I lost the ability to farm myself but got a novice gift pack in return. What a trade."

He opened the attribute panel and the novice gift pack.

"It's really appalling..." Tetsuya sighed. His attributes were abysmally low, except for his mental power, which was just above Genin level.

With a thought, a bottle of blue liquid appeared in his hand. Without hesitation, Tetsuya drank the Senju Bloodline Awakening Potion. Senju, descended from Ashura, son of the Sage of Six Paths, was also the bloodline of Senju Hashirama, the god of ninjas.

Feeling the changes in his body, Tetsuya checked his attribute panel again.

"Outrageous," Tetsuya whispered. Just by awakening the Senju bloodline, his physical fitness and Chakra volume had improved significantly. He was almost on par with a fresh Genin.

"This bloodline is truly incredible," he thought, marveling at the Senju's legendary vitality and Chakra reserves.

But despite his newfound power, Tetsuya knew he couldn't slack off. Daily exercise was essential to consolidate the abilities derived from the system.

As he walked into the courtyard, he reflected on the importance of effort and determination. "Some people say that the system determines the lower limit, and one's efforts determine the upper limit. In the ninja world, without a plug-in, hard work alone won't get you far. But with a plug-in, effort ensures you fully utilize your potential."

With that thought, Tetsuya began his training regimen, determined to make the most of the gifts he had been given. He knew the road ahead would be challenging, but he was ready to face it head-on, one step at a time.
