Mission requirements

It's been twenty days since the start of his training. After Kimimaro took bath he went to diner.

"I am home" old voice sounded trough the house.

Zangetsu gave his bear coat to the maid and sat on the table against Kimimaro.

"How was your training today?" Zangetsu asked.

"Fine but the weather on the mountain started to get harsher and harsher. Even the pond I stop starts to get frozen on the shores."Kimimaro answered

"Indeed… the winter will come sooner than previous years."

Soon the maid brings Zangetsu's dinner.

"Oo I almost forgot to tell you tomorrow you will not train."

"Why?" Kimimaro asked.

"Because tommorow you will go to the mission hall to see Kenji. He is twenty years old ninja. You will go on a mission with him."

"Why I should go on a mission my training is not completed yet."

"Because you are already a ninja and every ninja  from the clan is obliged to do at least one mission per month." Zangetsu answered.

"Ready your equipment. And tomorrow at dawn, together will go to the weapon hall to get you clan uniform and weapons."

"Alright." Kimimaro answered.

The next morning soon came. Zangetsu and Kimimaro went to the weapon hall. Zangetsu gave him ninja pack with space enlargements seal inside.

"Keep it at all costs. It cost more than a house." Zangetsu said.

"But why, I mean even the caravan mission.It was going to be so much faster and easier, if we sealed the products and came to the clan."Kimimaro asked.

"Alright let's go to the Mission hall." Zangetsu continued.

Soon they reached a ancient styled japanese pavilion, painted with red perfectly matching the black wood used for its construction. And the black roof tiles. On the entrance there was wooden board where it was written Mission hall. Soon they entered.

"Alright Kimimaro wait here I will call Kenji." Zangetsu said and went to the second floor.Soon he returned with two meter man equipped with green armour and a sword to the side.

"Kimimaro meet Kenji you two will do a escort mission. From Takayama to Sendai. "

"I will be at your care Kenji-san." Kimimaro said.

"Alright Kimimaro better get moving so we can reach Nara city in two days." Kenji answered with a smile.

Kimimaro said goodbye to his grandfather and double checked his equipment.

Soon the duo left the clan.

"Kenji-san why do you bring armour.I thought with Shikotsumyaku you do not require armour."

Kimimaro asked.

"Because unfortunately I do not have the clan kekkei genkai.Actually most of the clan members don't have the Kekkei Genkai. But that doesn't matter.Even though we don't have it most of the clan members are naturally gifted with swords,katanas, spears and staffs. For example look at me. I have high talent with the swords and spears. I can even perform the 3 swords dances that imitate the clan kekkei genkai. So yes,even though we do not have kekkei genkai, our clan members are not weak at all."

They continued with to talk at all kind of topics all day till sunset. They reached a tavern and decided to rest there for the night.

In the next day at noon they reached Takayama's city gates. Kimimaro and Kenji lined up for the entrance of the city. Half an hour later they entered.

"Alright Kimimaro we must go to "Senbon" Tavern there we will find our client."

Soon after, they found the tavern. They sat on the bar and started to listen. Soon they heard their client. He spoke how he will make a killing in Sendai after he sells his new batch of red dyes there. After moving trough the tables they sat against the client. He got spooked for a moment before he saw their marks on their forehead.

"So you are the ninjas that I hired." the trader said.

"Yes, Fujita-san. Can you tell me the exact number of the payment you're going to pay." Kenji said.

"Indeed." Kenji said.

"Per our agreement for the mission. I will get two ryo now and the other part at the end of the mission."

"Alright by me." Fujita said

"Our caravan will exit the city tomorrow at dawn. Little before that I want you to be at the dye shop near the west gate."Fujita continued.

"Yes sir" Kenji replied.
