Failed

Kimimaro stayed and looked at the sight five more minutes. His mind was calm and peaceful.

He looked at the beautiful blue sky with its golden jewel and said.

"Ok enough rest,time waits for no one."

He started to descend and soon he reached the wall.

"Now how should we proceed with that."

Kimimaro stopped for a second to think and a idea popped out of his mind.

"Its risky but who cares."

He started to decent slowly on all fours. Soon he reached the half point and stopped for a second he made his Shikotsumyaku kekkei genkai to create small spikes under his feet. He tried to pierce the rock wall with the spikes and succeeded. He stood up and started to run on the wall for five steps and tried to stop it was a little hard but managable.

He started to slowly started to increase the speed but soon he started to run with seventy kilometres an hour on ninety degrees wall. Every step he made was 15 meters further from the previous one. On the one hundred mark he started to smash his foot on the wall to decrease speed.  It was successful but not enough. He got out two more spikes from the ribs and grabbed them with his hands he turned around mid step and and pierced the rock with the spikes. His feet to pieced the wall too. He started to rapidly decrease speed. By the fifty meters checkpoint his speed was around forty five kilometres per our.  Thirty more metres and he stopped fully.

"Damn that was fun but my hands are strained now." Kimimaro thought.

He slowly descended the last twenty meters. And jumped on the ground.

"Hoo, the hard part is over now I must run 19 more kilometres and we're finished." Kimimaro smiled with a single tear escaping his eye.

He started to slowly descend, every mountain enjoyer will know that climbing and descending are very different. His speed was three times faster from the climbing.

One hour later he was already at the base of the mountain.

Now let's get the hard part. He started to slowly jog at moderate pace towards the village. By one hour he passed five more kilometres. He stopped for a second to take a break to regulate his breathing. He sat on the ground and started to circulate chakra. Kimimaro was surprised of what he saw. His chakra pool while barely, expanded a little.

He smiled and continued to circulate it.Five minutes later he stood up and continued.

"Five more to go." He thought and continued

One hour later at sunset he reached the village.

He passed the guards who saw him in the morning and stopped him for a second.

"Boy did you saw any suspicious marks of people on this side of the village" one guard asked. Kimimaro lift his finger to express them to wait a second to regulate his breathing.

"No I didn't saw nothing."

"Good continue with your business."

Soon he reached his house.

He went to the backyard. And saw his grandfather to drink his freshly brewed tea.

"You are late." His grandfather said.

"Well the guards stopped me." Kimimaro commented

"That doesn't matter. If you are late then you are late." His grandfather replied.

"It doesn't matter. I expected you to fail either way on the half way mark or to come here by midnight. Your efforts were commendable but…  did you bring the rock."

"Yes ,grandpa." He got the rock from his pocket and gave it to his grandfather.

"Well you didn't fake it which means that you really reached the peak. Excellent!" His grandfather said

"Now you shall continue running till you come back by noon." His grandfather continued.

"WHAT, REALLY? ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME JEEZER?" Kimimaro screamed

"WHAT ,YOU BRAT CLEARLY DON'T RESPECT YOUR ELDERS! FEEL MY FISTS OF LOVE!"

One short beating later.

Zangetsu said with solemn face.

"Boy, every Kaguya member have strong body. Chiselled by a sculptor and forged by metal. Your body right now won't even succeeds at one of the Kaguya dances. So yes,you must train hard now so tomorrow be easier."

"Yes,grandpa" Kimimaro said with panda like eyes.
