New teacher again

As they entered the room, Ryo and the other two could see the Hokage sitting in his usual place, and in front of him was the person who would become the new leader of Team 13. Ryo looked, noticing that he didn't really know that person.

He was a man in his mid-20s or early 30s. Not very old-looking, he had long dark hair down to his shoulders with a fringe falling over his face. He didn't have any features of any of Konoha's clans or families, but he had some scrolls on his waist, more than usual.

"Denji, Ryo, Haruka, I would like to introduce you to the new sensei and leader of Team 13, Hitoshi Tora," Hiruzen spoke without much ceremony. On his desk were several stacks of papers, and he seemed quite busy with it all.

"Just as Hokage-sama introduced me, I'm Hitoshi Tora, specializing in fuinjutsu and bukijutsu," he had a calm tone of voice, very calm indeed, almost as if he had no emotions, or something like that. Ryo looked at him and then returned his attention to the Hokage.

"Hitoshi has been assigned to you since he has no records in the bingo books of other countries yet, so you won't be targets for anyone on your missions. That's all, Team 13. You can leave. I look forward to hearing from you," Hiruzen said.

With that, the four of them left the Hokage's office while walking outside. Denji was looking at Tora, who was a little behind them. Haruka looked at Ryo and Denji with a slight doubt about it. Ryo was calm about it.

A ninja he didn't know but was good at using fuinjutsu and bukijutsu? That could be good for him. If he could learn some things about seals from Tora, it could help him a lot, especially since Ryo's fuinjutsu had hit a plateau, and he wasn't making any more progress in his attempts.

Outside the Hokage's building, Tora then spoke. "I would like to know more about what each of you is good at, and then I'll pick a D-rank mission for us to do today." With that, the three of them began to explain what each was good at. Denji made sure to speak even with movements of his weapon, the staff swinging back and forth amidst this.

Haruka spoke about some genjutsus she could use and that she was also good with kunais and shurikens, but her close combat skills weren't the best, so she helped the team from afar.

Ryo explained that he was good at close combat and also had some long-range jutsus, and he also talked about the shadow clone. After a few minutes, Tora nodded, speaking.

"Let's look for a simpler mission today; I want to see your teamwork and how you perform in action. I've already read Kakashi's report on you, so there's no need to delay too much in the choices. We'll spend some time doing D-rank missions in or around Konoha, not too far from here."

All three agreed with that, as it was the team's Sensei speaking; none of them had anything to say to contradict him. And soon they were off to the mission center; there were some ninjas there, but none that Ryo recognized at least until then.

The person in charge of the missions was a young ninja named Genji, a chunin who had been there for some time already. As soon as they arrived, Tora quickly found a mission for them to do; there were some okay missions on the request board.

Tora returned shortly with a paper in hand, placing it on the table in front of Genji. "Team 13, D-rank mission to find the lost cat." Genji nodded, proceeding with the necessary procedures to release the mission to Team 13, and then handed another paper to Tora, who took it and pocketed it.

"Let's go; the lost cat is white with dark spots on its body, wearing a red collar, and it disappeared this morning. The owner is an elderly lady a kilometer from here; it's an easy mission. It's also stated that if we find it today, she will pay an additional fee."

Ryo was impressed that there were people who lost cats out there, but in a world with ninjas who could find anything within kilometers, it made sense not to waste time searching for the animal and just put out a simple mission, especially with new ninja teams always getting these kinds of missions.

"I wouldn't be surprised if all this was something the Hakes arranged with the old ladies to lose their cats and request these simple missions." It was really something that could happen, but these were all Ryo's thoughts as he looked at the path they were taking towards the lady's house who requested the mission.

Arriving at the location, they could see that it was a large, beautiful house, filled with decorations, unlike the others. The area where the house was located only had other houses of this kind, like a neighborhood of the wealthy. After a few minutes, the door opened, and some cats and also an elderly lady came out of the house.

"Oh, what joy, you've already accepted the mission to find Latté!" She spoke with a smile, which seemed to be the name of the cat they were going to look for. Ryo chuckled lightly at the whole scene; after so many things and life in danger on the last mission, now he and his team were going to have to look for a cat named Latté.
