Naruto: A Broken Dream

Hiroshi was never someone who would rush into a fight, he was a happy person, someone who enjoyed getting everyone to laugh alongside him, Hiroshi was Mark Baker, a weeb who one day woke up in the world of Naruto and became Hiroshi Aburame... ---------------------------------------- I wanted to see what outside the scope of canon could do to the timeline, the story would probably go into massive AU in the future, with the whole world of Elemental nations going up and down because of Hiroshi's choices. If you want to read it, give it a try as the story won't be a linear worldbuilding, and everyone would be trying to screw one another... ---------------------------------------- This novel is my attempt at trying the Simulation system trope, I liked the idea behind the system, just the execution of many novels using this troupe was a blunder to navigate due to them being mostly MTL... So here's my attempt at a Simulation type novel. If you want to read ahead or read 9 Chapters ahead- https://www.patreon.com/DesMark

The Battle of the Jinchuriki! Part-1

{Valley of Hell, Land of Hot Springs}

{11:37 PM, 7 May 78 Yrs}

Hiroshi sat down at his table and looked at a basic map of the Elemental Nations, while the map was not guaranteed to be accurate, at least it gave him some idea of what route to take. Hiroshi had 25 days till the next simulation, and while the chunin exams were going to start in the next 25 days, taking part and sneaking into it was not part of his plan.

Having learned Hiraishin, Hiroshi now had a distinct advantage that he didn't have before. He was assured of his ability to escape any dangerous situation, so he can now meddle around with the timeline more.

His plan was really simple, he was directly copy-pasting Danzo's approach of having a fail-safe. He won't change anything in the timeline, after Naruto and Gaara fight, he would whisk Gaara away. Danzo didn't care about Gaara, and to be honest, neither did Hiroshi, but since Gaara was going to die anyway, and Chiyo would be there to revive him anyway, it would be better to just kill him after he got defeated by the Akatsuki but before he lost the Ichibi.

'The Simulation would give me a warning about when shit was about to go down, so I can time everything perfectly.'

Hiroshi gathered the supplies and marked the Hiraishin Jutsu formula in some hidden location across the clearing. After that, he jumped away and started running toward Konohagakure. He kept a Hiriaishin-marked kunai in hand as he jumped through the forest, as soon as he sensed himself go outside the range of the seals placed in the Valley of hell, he looked around and marked 3 trees with the Hiraishin marker.

After making sure that the connection was maintained, he first traveled in an arc northbound, then traveled in an arc southbound and repeated the process. While it looked a little complicated at the beginning, he managed to cover around 250 km in just one day.

The distance between Konoha and the Valley of Death was around, 3000km so Hiroshi was sure he could get back to Konoha before the chunin exams began.

{Hokage Monument, Konohagakure}

{06:31 PM, 18 May 78 Yrs} (Note the Time skip)

The view was nothing short of breathtaking, Hiroshi looked as the sun begins its descent below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the land, he was currently standing atop the Hokage Monument, more specifically on Minato's head overlooking the village of Konoha. From this vantage point, he could catch glimpses of a life left behind, within the village, people were going about their daily activities, children playing, and shinobi honing their skills in the training fields.

Hiroshi jumped on the other 3 heads and placed a seal on them for good measure before he, concentrated again, a new seal was blinking in his senses, he focused and with a burst of chakra activated the seal. He found himself in the Konoha Academy, there was no one there obviously this late so Hiroshi made a shadow clone once again, his clone went through a series of Hand signs before he transformed into an old man.

As the clone slowly walked through Konoha's streets, Hiroshi marveled at how stupidly easy it was to go through Konoha's defenses. First, he made a clone that walked slowly towards Konoha, as soon as he encountered a patrol moving straight towards him, the clone popped and Hiroshi simply used a kunai marked with Hiraishin to bypass the barrier. After that, he made a shadow clone that went around the Konoha's great wall and simply chucked another Kunai straight over it.

The walls enclosing Konoha had a special seal placed on them that repelled chakra, so no one was able to scale these walls making them the perfect defense tools. Unfortunately, the walls were simply not high enough to stop him from lobbing a kunai through.

After that, he just had to let his clones disguised as various different people with Chakra Suppression seals roam through Konoha marking the whole village in Hiraishin seals.

'While Hiraishin was a good tool to infiltrate and escape, I won't actually be able to spy on anyone because my stealth is not high enough.'

While the chakra suppression seals helped in not drawing any attention to himself, as soon as he gets within the hearing range of a higher-ranked shinobi they would notice his movements.

'I guess I could only go for Naruto and Gaara later.'

While placing seals all around the land of fire in his attempt to connect Valley of Hell to Konoha, he thought about introducing Naruto to Fuinjutsu, although it went against him in the end, just the potential Naruto displayed was frightening, but then his plan conflicted with his plan to use Gaara as a ticking time bomb to disrupt Akatsuki's plans.

Though he did find a simple fix for it, and hopefully he would be able to use the next simulation to perfect this. Hiroshi looked around the academy once again before he felt the final seal appear in his mind. He immediately activated the jutsu again and appeared in training ground 21. Though it was not empty like he thought it would be, Ren was currently practicing his Kenjutsu katas while hanging upside down from a tree.

He just wanted to see what his old home looked like but it seems like it wasn't necessary, Hiroshi wasn't sure what rumors were being spread about his sudden disappearance, but now wasn't the time to poke around, he closed his eyes and took a few seconds to locate the seal in the Valley of Hell.

-----------------------------

Valley of Hell was Hiroshi's first hideout, it was a secure location for now from where he could send an army of clones to attack anyone around the elemental nations. Granted he didn't have the chakra to do any of that right now.

Hiroshi looked at his stats for a moment as he decided on his future advancement path.

The next simulation had to be used to deal with Gaara's seal so Hiroshi wasn't counting on it to gain strength, so from the next simulation onward he would have to focus on getting his hidden stats upgraded again, and considering that he had a Jounin rank evaluation because of the addition of Hiraishin, it would be a lot easier than the fluke chance by which he got that evaluation a while ago.

'Though to get full use out of the Hiraishin I would have to focus on Reflexes... Tch- I should have gotten that trait which would have simply added a +1 to my Reflexes...'
