004 - Lightning!

'Huh, the academy is smaller than expected, there are almost no classrooms but there's a lot of free ground...'

"Alright everyone, gather around in front of the Sensei who calls out your name..." Sakumo instructed stopping everyone from peering around.

I looked around and there were around 20 8yo's peering at the 4 ninjas standing behind Sakumo, I tried looking at their names but none of their names clicked in the start.

"...Minato Namikaze" Hori-sensei stated and Minato lightly waved at his group and stood behind Hori-sensei.

'Hmm, his level is also unknown... I wish there were some clues about the difference in strength... I need to search the net after today's gameplay.'

"...Shiro" Kagami-Sensei shouted my name breaking my monologue as I swiftly stood behind him.

There was one other student in front of me with the name Miya Ryota and the same level as everyone else.

The students were quickly divided between the 4 Sensei's and I noticed a peculiar situation. The distribution was too uneven, like in my group there were just 2 of us.

"Alright follow me!" Kagami-Sensei said and we started walking towards one corner of the field, I shared a confused glance with Miya before hurriedly following behind him.

"Here... Both of you sit down." Kagami-Sensei said with a strict tone and then sat down in a meditative pose.

I immediately sat down and tried to copy his posture when Kagami-Sensei continued, "Close your eyes, take a deep breath... Listen to the birds chirping and try to calm down... Just listen to my voice and try to focus... Now stop thinking about anything and focus on your body, feel yourself calm down..."

'Are we unlocking chakra for the first time? isn't it supposed to take hours? won't the stream get bored? How the fuck are we supposed to retain our audience at this rate...'

"Hmm... That was faster than expected go on and run to Sakumo-Senpai..." Kagame-Sensei said with a hint of appreciation in his voice before he harshly rebuked Miya who was distracted by my shout, "Miya focus..."

I looked at the paper in my hands and closed my eyes, feeling the chakra flowing through my hand I pushed it towards the paper, the chakra refused to budge but slowly under continued pressure, some chakra gradually flew out from my fingers...

I felt the paper crinkle in my hands and when I opened my eyes another barrage of notifications appeared in front of me.

"Well, this is one hell of a coincidence..." Hatake-Sensei looked between me and Minato before saying, "Alright wait a minute, looks like the rest of the students, will take some time so let me make some arrangements for your test..."

Then he turned around and left towards Kagami-sensei.

"Hello" Minato approached me with a curious look, "Hello" I replied back, he looked surprised and continued, "Hmm... it looks like we will have to rely on each other in the future..."

"Yeah, please take care of me in the future..." I bowed my head politely trying to imitate the Japanese customs that I have seen in various shows.

"Alright, you two come with me..." Hatake-sensei says as all three of us walk towards another training ground.

"Alright we will now test your innate strengths, as none of you have gone through any physical conditioning, we will start by slowly warming up, so follow whatever I do..." I nod my head as Hatake-Sensei started to slowly go through basic warmup exercises before light jogging and sprinting around the ground.

"Now, come here and stand before me, both of you... good now I'm going to use one finger to touch your forehead and you have to lean back to dodge it, I'll start slowly and increase my speed step by step so get ready..."

Hatake-Sensei had his finger in front of our faces and suddenly his finger shot towards my face and I unconsciously leaned back.
