I stared at the fluctuating number of viewers, a gust of wind rustled my hair softly as I stared outside the arch window.

"...Okay it's time Chat! I know, I know... I'm sorry for teasing you guys for a while now but it's your own fault you guys were early, anyway forget that..." I swiped my index and middle finger upwards and a long list of disappearing messages kept appearing with some messages highlighted and fixed.

"...Heh as expected, Adam guessed correctly once again, and before you guys start searching for his message to read that." I closed my eyes and opened them as I looked towards the great lake in the distance.

"... Hogwarts Legacy's Demo version has ended today, and the game will hit next month for you guys to play, now remember, the game we played for the past 6 months was just Hogwarts part of the game, and as you guys already know, you could go through the same tutorial yourself and waste 6 months to try and get a score higher than me or you those of you have watched more than 1/10th of my journey could just copy my progress. everyone else would have to take a 20% stat penalty when you enter the MMO though..."

The number of messages blasted once again, some cursing at their inability to make the list while some rejoicing while some donations chimed.

"... Thank you Daphne for watching and supporting me... now" I read some donations quickly before continuing, "Now you guys know that even though we scored low on viewership than some of the best out here in England.... but we managed to clinch the 9th spot in the closed Beta...."

A wave of congratulations chimed in the chat, "So you guys must have already figured it out right? Yes, exactly Beth, Tomorrow at 4 PM we will start a new journey in the elemental nations."

My grin widened as I glanced at the viewer count, now that I managed to get in the Top 20, most of my competition got eliminated, as there were only 20 spots granted for England streamers, most of the others would just complete some sidequests in Hogwart's Legacy and try to prepare for the MMO version and hope to attract others towards their stream.

The new generation of VR games places a lot of strain on humans so only about 1% of humans are allowed to play these high immersion games as they try to emulate for 99% realism. Because of the realistic graphics and scenes, most of the entertainment sectors shifted toward the VR world. The new Hogwarts Legacy is a pioneer game that will try to emulate 25% realism in open beta while guaranteeing all age access opening a new age for the entertainment industry.

'But people won't like it compared to 99% realism they experienced through my streams so most of them would come back again after getting bored...'

I read some messages when a golden outline shone softly across my HUD.

'huh?'

My expression morphed into one of surprise, as I stammered, "T..thankyou Ms. Shane for your support I didn't know you were watching?" I exclaimed as my chat also stopped before chiming as my viewer count surged.

Along with the message, there was a link to a private chat group. I read through the message quickly before standing up from the ledge of the Ravenclaw Tower's window.

"Hello everyone who came from Ms. Shane's stream... I probably shouldn't say but I'm a huge fan of her just like you guys..." I stage whispered the last part as I started walking down the stairs.

The messages flashed as they stayed pinned depending on the amount of donation received...

"Alright guys I was planning to do some side quests but I guess I should get some rest for tomorrow's stream... and as Henry here is just starting his career as a streamer I would send you guys to help promote his stream, remember if you like him, just drop him a follow and help him gain some motivation...Bye guys and see ya tomorrow for the new game..."

I clicked on the end stream button after swiping for a bit and the messages ended. Looking around I stood in front of the Great Hall looking at students roaming around.

'Sigh, it was a long ass 6 months but at least I managed to reach my goal. It took me almost 2 years to successfully break into the Top scene, I wonder if one day Henry would do it too.'

"Log off!" I commanded as my vision darkened.

'Fuck, it still fucks with my senses even after 6 months'

I gripped the edges tightly as I slowly stood up from the pod, suddenly feeling weak and powerless as I walked and flopped on the bed, and clicked on my watch. My stream profile came up and I selected the link attached with Ms. Shane's message.

A chat app started installing on my UVR before it opened and I looked as I entered a standard Discord group but one containing only an odd 40-50 names.

I typed my reply swiftly.

'I made it.... now to get past them, I need to participate in the next Worlds... Let's start by getting a good start tomorrow, strangely there is not much information revealed for the new game...'
