The Mortal Realm.
A single sword fell, and all things were divided.
The world after Egypt's death was not worth mentioning, but under the apocalyptic Demon Sword, the mortal Earth was truly shattered into fragments of varying sizes.
The land was cleaved, the rivers severed. Some scattered loosely, their cycles utterly broken, with all life perishing as a result.
Only a few larger fragments could maintain a semblance of ecology; if they could merge into Chaos before complete destruction, there was a slim chance of survival.
Among these fragments, the largest was undoubtedly the former core of Egypt, known to later generations as the Nile Delta.
With the world's dissolution, unlike the decline of other places, that birthplace of Egypt seemed to be reborn with a hint of greenery.
The blood in the Nile River's waters gradually faded, and Egypt's mother river was revitalized.
