Nothing is as it seems
The group walked between the trees with rope bridges. Male elves carrying boxes. Female elves carrying around children and newborns. Boxes and crates scattered across the platforms.
"Nice place you got here" Kunaiya doesn't talk and keeps walking before stopping at a circular house on a single tree.
"Here's your destination… knock on the door and she'll take you right in" The four of them are left speechless. Kiyoko shrugs and knocks on the door. A few seconds pass as sounds of stuff falling and breaking can be heard. Kiyoko shrugs as the door opens. An elf that seems younger than most opening the door. Large glasses resting on her nose and ears. She wore large baggy clothes as she rushed to comb her hair.
"Sorry folks… I wasn't really expecting company today" She nervously laughs as Kiyoko bows.
"We're sorry to intrude on your free time… The Elf queen invited us here so…" The elf is slightly shocked before chuckling.
"You're a real one ain't cha'? Come on in and tell me about your journeys" she moves out the way letting them in through the door. Frederic and Kiyoko sit at one couch and Myoya sitting with Kiyatana at the dining table. She closes the door and sits beside Kiyoko.
"I heard from the queen you guys were coming… but I wasn't expecting it to be that fast" Kiyoko nervously chuckles as Frederic looks around.
"Pretty nice place you got here… why live alone in all this luxury? How old are you?" The elf exhales solemnly. Kiyoko was embarrassed at Frederic's questions.
"My names Lily and I'm currently 19… I used to live here with my parents… Then I did something I wasn't supposed to do… And my parents stuck up for me… Now I live here alone" there was silence as she calmly smiled.
"I was betrayed by someone I loved shortly after and left for dead… The Queen helped me because of my natural talent for healing fatigue… It's lonely right now… But… I won't be alone in this house much longer…" she smiles calmly as she rubs her stomach. There was an awkward silence.
"So uh… Tell me what you're here for adventurers?" Kiyoko takes a deep breath.
"There's something big coming… And we need the help of the elves for that… So the queen sent us here to restore our muscle fatigue before the big event…" She slowly nods. Lifting her hands and touching Kiyoko's shoulders.
"I can tell… your whole body is stiff… Shoulders… Knees… back" Lily's hands glow a slight green.
"restoration: Muscle Fatigue" Kiyoko's whole body glows as all his pain seemingly dissipates. She lets go and smiles calmly.
"How do you feel?" Kiyoko smiles brightly.
"I haven't felt like this in forever… thank you Lily" Kiyoko hugs Lily as she blushes slightly before moving onto Frederic.
"Tell me about what you're going through… you seem to have more Mental pain than anything" Frederic looks away and stays silent as she sighs. Walking over to Kiyatana.
"Something big is coming you guys say?... I feel your most important moment in life will be short lived… love what your currently gifted with before you lose your will to fight just because you lost someone you loved" Kiyatana's eyes widen.
"I'm not using my Maho… That's from my heart… I'm telling you something I wish I could tell my younger self… Live your life while you CAN live it… And respect what you don't have" Kiyatana wipes a few tears from his eyes as he nods. Then moving over to Myoya. Her hand glowing as she touches his forehead.
"Don't think you aren't worthless… you're worth every Blood Cell in your body… and if no one in this physical world loves you, chase after the only one who loves you no matter what… my savior Jesus Christ" Myoya nods as she stands. Getting slightly dizzy.
"Oh… I'm gonna have to sit down…" Lily sits down in one of the chairs as Kiyoko stands.
"Are you okay?" Lily calmly smiles and nods.
"Yup… He's just kicking" Kiyoko tilts his head slightly confused. The forest violently shaking.
"No!, they can't be here already!" Kiyoko opens one of the windows. A massive wall of flames engulfed a large portion of the forest.
"Myoya… Protect Lily!... Frederic put out the flames… Me and Kiyatana will deal with the Demons!" Kiyoko rushes out the door and jumps off the ledge. Kiyatana and Frederic bolt out after him. Myoya stands in front of Lily who's scared.
"What's going on?... Why is it suddenly hot here?" Myoya turns to look at her and hugs her.
"It will be okay… there's no need to worry… im here to keep you and the little Mr. safe" Lily slightly blushes and chuckles at 'Little Mr.'
