Desicion

That is off-day for everyone including Rin but she only decides to stay inside her room in the dormitory. She smiles when she’s playing with her kaleidoscope; seeing reflection of colourful beads on the triangle mirrors when she rotates it. Her mind slowly replays the memories where the little Aria invites her and Ryouhei to her house where she just moves in.

Flashback~~

Aria run towards them as soon she see them at the gate and happily says, “Welcome~! My dad prepare a playroom just for me and I prepare something that really interesting for all of us! Let’s go there!”

She pulls both of them into a room that fill many things; from books to toys. She happily says, “Let’s create kaleidokp!”

Both of them couldn’t understand what is mean by that until Kai appear and says, “It is kaleidoscope. Make sure to clean up after finish everything.”

“I know~!” reply Aria in blunt tone with pout on her face before push her brother out from the room. She even tells her brother should go play with his lover, even she doesn’t understand what that word means.

Ryouhei helps her to bring out box from one of wooden cupboards and spill out the contents which have everything that they need for their activity to a table. Three of them create their own kaleidoscope with various designs on things that they like. They totally mess up the room with small-cut of paper that later get clean by Kai as it supposedly he has to watch them but get push out.

Kai says after finish cleaning since three of the kids decide to relax inside the playroom, “Since all of you already make mess, I hope these things last longer than I think.”

“Of course we will treasure it!” say Aria happily.

End of flashback~

She always loves to see reflection that keep changing every angle as that reminds her of happy moments. Her days with Ryouhei and Aria is just like normal kids who never worry of anything but that soon change when her parent decide to send her to ballet classes and Ryouhei become Johnny’s Junior.

Her thoughts get distract when hear door’s open and know her roommate, Mira who just reach back to their room. That girl asks as she gets change to room-wear clothing, “Why you never want to join us for hang-out?”

“I’m here only for this things and I prefer not to include my private life with my studies.” Reply Rin, bluntly.

“I’m really curious over something; do you even have friend? You always have some kind of barrier when you with other people.” ask Mira. She knows about that rumours of Rin who never have any friends and don’t show any intention to socialize with other people.

“Of course I have but I will never talk about that. I prefer not to disclose about my life at Japan since I want to focus things here.” Rin put stop on that matter and keep back her kaleidoscope inside the drawer.

She get ready to go out as she need some fresh air to clear up her mind as she actually can’t understand herself at that moment. A question that keep appear in her mind, “Do I make the right decision?”

Ryouhei is going out with Keitarou and Yurio to spend their off-day together. He tries really hard not to show that he’s actually worry about Aria after what happen last night but when he tries to make phone call to her, she won’t pick up and only send short mail, ‘I’m okay.’

Keitarou says, “You look better today.”

“What do you mean by that?” ask Ryouhei.

Keitarou casually says, “You look really awful yesterday like nothing else matter anymore but this morning, you even come out with plan to go out today.”

“Yeah, as it’s always Keitarou who come out with idea.” Say Yurio.

“It just I manage to talk back with Aria-chan last night and she tell me that she doesn’t hate me. That would be enough before we have serious talk later on.” Say Ryouhei.

“Wow, I never know you could even be serious with someone.” Say Yurio with tiny giggles escapes from him.

Ryouhei quickly retort, “I can be serious when I want to and it not the first time.” The other two just laugh at him as they enjoy their day. They decide to stop the car at a beach to relax before continue their destination and he surprise to see someone familiar there.

Aria packs her things that will last for few days since she will join her college friends to have fun. She could make guess on her missing memories on the day before based on memo that Ryouhei left beside her bed. Her friends’ offer come at right timing when she really need to do something to clear up her mind as she couldn’t go out with Rin.

Her phone ringing and she knows it is not Ryouhei as she assign certain ringtone to his contact, “Hello~!”

“Hey, we’re already here! You need any help from us to bring your luggage?” ask Tamaki.

Aria chuckles before says, “Hey! I’m not that weak but I will get down soon.”

She hangs the phone call and make sure she bring things that she need. She makes the way to car that already waits for her and fist bump with everyone inside the car. She says, “You guys really know great timing to invite me. I almost died of boredom as my shop makes me take off-days.”

“It was Raiden who found out when go to shop and hear from your manager. That’s why we invite you since it really hard to meet you after all of us graduate.” Say Tamaki.

“Yeah, I really miss you~!” Miroku pulls her into right hug and ruffles her hair.

They begin their journey and Raiden says, “Guys, let’s stop at beach first as I really want to take nap for few minutes.”

“Hey, you can let one of us to take over the wheel.” Miroku gives idea as all of them could drive.

Raiden quickly deny the idea, “There is no way I will let any of you to ruin my baby.”

Aria only smiles as she knows how that friend of her really loves his car more than anything. She checks her phone to see numerous missed call from Ryouhei that make her switch off her phone. She turn to Miroku and asks, “Mi-tan, how your relationship with Kin-kun?”

“Of course it is going really well but he’s busy with his new project that makes me feel really lonely.” Miroku fake cry while talking but Aria knows he just want to spend more time with his lover. Among them, Miroku has tendency act feminine and he always the one who take care of her.

They arrive at the beach and Aria jump out from the car after Miroku did so. She really happy to see the blue sea spread thought out the horizon. She turns to see Raiden already lower the seat to get some rest.

Tamaki explains to her as he could see that girl wonder about that, “He work overnight yesterday but still don’t want to cancel the trip.”

“Is that meaning you guys invite me last minute?” Aria knows those guys like to make spontaneous trip but still surprise every time she learns about it.

“You don’t want to pick up any of our call until today but it really nice that you join us.” Say Tamaki.

They watch Miroku begin taking selfies to send it to his lover as they lean against the car. While they still enjoying the scenery, someone grab her hand and hear voice that she wants to avoid, “What are you doing here?”

“Ryo-chan…” that’s the only thing that comes out from her mouth as she shocks to see him there. The only thing in her mind is to flee since she’s not ready to explain anything.

Tamaki swiftly create barrier between Aria and Ryouhei before says, “It’s not your business on why she’s here.”

Aria has to tug Tamaki’s arm to distract him as she knows that guy somehow protective when they together, “Tamaki-kun, please calm down.”

“Wow, I never know that you’re unfaithful person. You’re going out with me but having fun with these guys. You’re avoiding my phone call because you with them.” Ryouhei lose his cool composure to see that girl with those guys that he never met before.

Tamaki really tick-out to hear that and he grab Ryouhei’s collar, “Watch your words, dude or your pretty face will get bruise.”

It seems the situation become uncontrolled until Miroku join them and pulls Tamaki away from Ryouhei and Raiden says, “You really have nerve to disturb my nap, Tamaki.”

“This dude bashes our girl without our permission!” shout Tamaki. He can’t escape from Miroku that surprisingly strong to hold down that guy despite not look like it.

“But that doesn’t mean you just get into trouble. You should at least take notice where we are.” Scold Raiden.

They decide to move the place to somewhere private for them to have talk. Ryouhei couldn’t get near Aria as Miroku ‘protect’ her from anyone else. He even gets warning, “You will have to get through me before I decide it is okay for you to talk with my Aria-chan!”

Raiden bring them to a place where he book for the trip since it give privacy that they need. When reach there, he become the one who open his mouth, “I think we should explain something to you; we love Aria-chan but it more to love of family.”

“I don’t think we should explain to him as he’s too stupid to understand.” Scowl Tamaki who clearly annoy at the moment.

Ryouhei want to reply to that provoke but Keitarou explain on his behalf, “We just surprise to see her there as Ryouhei told us that she’s sleeping at home.”

“We invite her to this trip on spontaneous. I’m sure you have heard about we always go for trips when we were students and you don’t have to worry as Miroku will be the one who beat us if we hurt Aria-chan.” Raiden calmly explain the situation.

Miroku says in loud voice, “Of course I will protect her! She’s my baby girl!”

“Mi-tan, you should really relax as people outside will wonder what’s wrong with you.” Aria tries to calm down her friend as that guy quite popular as protector when they in college. She explains, “Ryo-chan is my childhood friend and he also like all of you who always worry about me.”

“I’m just worry if she will get hangover as she rarely drink that much.” Explain Ryouhei. He adds as soon he gets death glares, “Our house is near to each other and her mom also asks me to look after her.”

“What? Both of you live even near to each other?” ask Miroku as he’s aware of Ryouhei’s identity and pulls Aria into tight hugs before whines, “I also want to live near to you~!”

“That would be impossible as you already begin live with your boyfriend and the house that you currently stay is his house AND release her if you want her to live longer.” Tamaki retort as he smacks that guy’s head that break the hug.

“Don’t touch me!” Miroku shouts before they begin small argument.

Aria turn to Ryouhei and others to talk with them, “Just ignore Tamaki-kun since he always picks fight with anyone. So, where you guys are heading to?”

“We’re just driving around to relax.” Ryouhei could feel calm when hear her voice.

Raiden come out with idea, “How about you guys stay here too? We have enough room for everyone and we could have more people for tonight’s BBQ.”

Tamaki quickly protest, “But there is no way for him not to let her to join us for trip.” He get smack from one of his friends.

Aria’s eyes go sparkle when hear that word and completely ignore Tamaki’s protest, “Will you be the one who prepare it?”

“Yeah but we will have to go supermarket first and…” Raiden could make guess that girl offer her help and quickly says, “You will stay home as your face really pale. You must have held yourself from hangover for quite long time.”

Miroku pull her to get into a room and make her lay on the bed before says, “Just rest since I’m sure you don’t want to miss the fun we’re going to have later.”

Ryouhei goes to check Aria in her room since everyone else goes out to buy things while he offers to stay behind. He remembers how Miroku manage to throw death glare to him and inform him before he get into the car, “I will let you to have talk with Aria-chan but don’t ever think to do weird things or you will be dead.”

“Mi-tan, don’t threat her or you will do the same to your lover.” Say Aria while she stands by the door. She knows that guy will threat anyone who doesn’t have good impression on him.

Miroku gently kiss on her forehead and says, “I will try my best, okay? Now, you just rest here while I search for everything that we need later.” With that, he skips out from the room to join everyone else who already waiting outside.

Ryouhei take seat on chair near to the bed and says, “I’m really sorry for losing my temper just now. I only worry about you as you never drink that much before.”

“I’m okay since I already take medicine and totally get enough sleep. It just those guys too worry-wart and will do anything.” Say Aria. Both of them watch sea view that just outside until she says, “Ne, I think it already time for us to just stay as childhood friend. It will only hurt both of us to continue life as lover.”

“What!?” Ryouhei couldn’t believe that sudden statement.
