one word from Leon made everyone shiver in fear while barely being able to breath. then Leon lowered his aura which made everyone go back to normal.
"what made you all think he cheated ? just so you guys know I have the ability to sense if he had used an ability or not and I can assure you he didn't use any ability. but if still can't believe that, then I can only use this to make you believe"
after what sergeant Leon said he took out a small ball from his pocket"
"astin tray come here, now if the ball glows that means he has an ability. but if it doesn't that means he doesn't have one"
astin at first was hesitate since he got the system from a scroll doesn't that mean the ball will glow? and will happen to him if the ball glows?
he then touched the ball and after a while the ball didn't glow.
"is that enough proof for you all or do you need more ?"
no one even dared to say anything after that.
"I'll take your silence as a yes, now shall we continue our exam then"
then all of them was now looking at a humanoid like machine
"now your last exam was about power now your exam will be about speed. you will be standing right in front the machine and when if says go you will start being attacked all you have to do is dodge all the attacks from the machine. but with each second passing by the machine will only get faster and faster until you eventually loss"
after what Leon said he started calling students one by one
"1 minute, 30 seconds, 2 minutes"
Leon was counting how long everyone have lasted without messing any second. now it was astins turn.
when the screen said go a fist came at him it was slow. very slow so he blocked the fist by simply moving the fist that was coming at him away. and after that a faster attack came at him so he did the same for 2 minutes and finally decided to dodge the other attacks coming at him since it was too fast for him to block. after 4 minute or so he didn't feel like he can dodge anymore because the attacks was faster and faster until he finally got hit.
"five minutes" said sergeant Leon
"did you see what he did"
"I can't believe he doesn't have an ability"
"ok everyone time for the last exam. now the last exam will be a 1 vs 1 fight. now take a piece of paper from my hand and it will decide who will fight who. after everyone have taken a piece of paper open It and check your number"
astin then opened his and saw the number 7 in it.
"now number 7 and number 3 come on ahead"
astin was now called for the first fight he looked around to see who is he fighting and saw the same guy that had a power level of 3950.
"ok now before we start I will be giving a reward for whoever gets first place. so you better give it your all"
before the fight started he used his inspect skill on his opponent.

they soon stopped talking when sergeant Leon glared at them.
"this exam is not meant to test your ability but your fighting skill, tell me what will happen when you run out of mana are you just gonna except your defeat just because you lost the power to use your ability"
"now then shall we start the exam or does anyone want to complain more? good let the fight begin "
Michael was the first one to make a move he charged at astin with full speed. but no matter how fast he was. he wasn't faster then astin. Michael then went for a punch but then astin suddenly disappeared. then suddenly he felt pain in his chest and was sent flying after this. but was then caught by sergeant Leon.

astin then was grabbed from behind by surprise
"do you mind if I joined your team?"
astin didn't even feel the man approaching him astin then tried to use his inspect skill on him.
