I've been walking for hours, or at least I think it's been hours. The further I got into the darkness, the thicker it seemed. It's almost like I'm trapped in a never ending void.
This has never happened before.
To top it off, it seemed the more I remained here, the more my memories about my powers began to make more sense. The power of the king isn't just an ability that I just happened to make by myself.
Some are through my connections as a vampire, some are through my wives, and some are through contracts made with otherworldly beings.
An example of a contract based ability is my skill, Redo, that lets me regress back to a safe point that had been set within a 24 hours time frame. This power was granted to me after making a contract with a particular deity. I don't know why I made the contract, but it's a skill I still value till today.
