Just before the door was opened, I was watching as the big guy was lowering his foot towards the lady's head.

I did not want to care who lives or dies.

I was trying to convince myself that it was best to let things go on. That way I will be certain about the future. If I create variables, they will create problems for me in the future.

It was for the best. Once again, I tried to convince myself.

I could see the foot of the big man lowering in slow motion. I could see the teenage girl's desperate face. I could see the regret in the determined look on that mother's face.

I smirked at her and then lifted her over my shoulder. Then I moved toward her daughter and lifted her on another side of my shoulder.

I used the flight skill and then with all the agility stat I flew out from the window I came in. In an instant, I was at the forest tree near the shed. It wasn't very far, I could still see inside the shed through the window.

I put the mother-daughter pair on the ground with their back on the tree trunk, and then I canceled all the skills. As soon as I did that, a sudden fatigue came rushing into me. I lost all the strength in my legs and fell to the ground.

I again check the notification, and it was still the same. It really was 'Gumiho'. I felt like my days of peace were flying away from me.

Gumiho is the Korean name for the nine-tailed fox which was famous in Japanese mythology. According to legend, if a fox lives past a thousand years, it becomes a spirit capable of taking on different forms, with its favorite form being a young, beautiful woman.

It might sound good that someone like her is taking interest in me, but in ' Milky-Way Revelation ' Gumiho was famous for spreading rumors. She is cunning as the legends say. So someone like her taking interest in me was not good. But all I could do was shed some crocodile tears.

I looked at the girl again. She had a concerned look on her face, She took my tears seriously.

I blankly told her without any form of denial. Her expression became filled with even more concern.

The Astral-Persephone looked at me like she did not fully believe me. I just ignored her, it's not like I could talk to her with all these Nubeculas watching, and who knows what Gumiho will do.

Both of their clothes were dirty because of the battle. They were wearing normal white clothes under light leather armor. They were agility-type fighters through and through.

Points in this world are not that accessible, either you get them from Nubeculas or you can get it from the hidden and Miscellaneous scripts. All of those are very hard to find, so people invest points in one characteristic to become professional at it.

The mother looked into my eyes and spoke.

I shrugged my shoulders. Maybe I really am weird, I didn't want to save them at first and then I did the exact opposite thing I thought I should do.

The teenage girl asked the same question again. It seem she felt like she should at least check my injuries since I saved them.

I looked at her, but then my vision went past her, inside the shed through the window. A man in military uniform was talking to the big guy in the middle of the arena. Then the referee came running and the military man started talking to him.

As I watched the military officer talking to the people inside the arena, the message flashed in front of my eyes.
