FIRST KISS

It was a beautiful morning, Kenny was sitting in her bedroom combing her long black hair and reading a novel when a knock came in, "come in" she said, a tall handsome young man walked into her room, Kenny was short of words as she stared at those hazel eyes of his, then she heard his lovely voice speaking to her "My Lady, where do you want your breakfast served". "OMG" Kenny said to herself, she had never heard such lovely voice since she got married to the Prince of Caristo kingdom, she couldn't say anything until her husband (the prince) came in and of course rescued her "the garden would be fine Koshan" turning towards my direction he said "you look beautiful today princess" I looked at the man standing in front of me and all I wanted was to spit on his face but I found myself saying "thanks so do you".

After breakfast I couldn't just stop thinking of Koshan, I knew he was a new maid because since my two months marriage with the prince I haven't seen Koshan before. While I kept thinking of Koshan I remembered when my mother usually told me stories on how she met my father, such a lovely couple I would say, but I wondered why they forced me into a marriage with Lucifer, well what has been done can't be undone. The king of Caristo actually helped my parents during their last war but I still didn't understand if they gave me out as a reward. Throughout the rest of the day I just sat at the garden thinking of Koshan and why those eyes of his captured me.

"my lady where do you want your breakfast served" said Koshan, but he was confused why the princess didn't utter a word "wait did I say the statement wrongly, but why was the Princess staring at my eyes, ooh God help me I don't want to be sacked on my first day" all this thoughts went through his head until he heard someone speaking to him "Koshan the Princess sends for you now" said the head maid, after hearing this statement I began to swest I didn't know why but deep down I knew I was nervous "I'm I getting sacked on my first day, Lord please help me who would take care of nanny if I get sacked" Koshan kept on thinking as he made his way to the garden. He finally entered the garden standing there as if he knew what was coming his way, then he heard a magnificent voice "Come Koshan sit let's have a talk" at first Koshan thought he was dreaming or he shouldn't have a talk with the Princess but his body really wanted to hear more of those magnificent voice of hers.

"send unto me, a male maid named Koshan" said kenny to the guards while admiring the roses in the garden. "oooh no, what did I just do isn't it bad to have an interaction with a maid in this castle, Kenny suddenly felt sad because she knew if Koshan comes she wouldn't be able to communicate with him freely because of the guards but yet she decided to interact with him even though it means talking to him in a harsh and friendly tone if that's possible. Lost in her very own thoughts she didn't realize Koshan standing right before her, until the guard said " my lady here is the male maid, Koshan" just at hearing his name her heart flipped, she wondered why someone could bare such handsome name but she couldn't deny the fact that the name did suit his long brown hair and those eyes of his. Kenny didn't know what to say at that moment but she finally spoke "come Koshan, sit let's have a talk". In a rightful way this was so inappropriate but at seeing Koshan walking towards her she felt she could do anything she wanted to do, yet she wondered if his eyes were manipulating her. " okay, Koshan your probably wondering why I sent for you, well I usually have brief conversation with new maids brought into this castle, so I called you here after I learnt that you were a new maid". Truly Kenny had asked the head maid earlier on if Koshan was a new maid and she confirmed it by saying "my lady he just resumed duties", but the lie in this statement is that Kenny has never had a brief conversation with new maids before, this was her first. After making this statement I didn't know what to say again since he hadn't replied so I ordered for some extra tea.

" Really, it's just a talk, I wasn't getting sacked" Koshan said to himself. Smiling at the princess while she talked he wondered "why the princess was so beautiful not only in her facial view but also in her words", he said to himself as he watched her sip from her tea, he suddenly remembered his mother. Koshan isn't from Caristo but from a nereby city named Napele, well Caristo and Napele were one before a war broke out between them, Caristo kingdom thought Napele were too selfish so they needed a separate, the war lasted for three years on the third year Koshan was born, his mother decided to travel with him across the border and pretended she was from Caristo kingdom, so when they took in their hostages they took them along, Koshan grew up with his mother and grandmother whom he called Nanny, while Koshan was eight years old his mother fell ill and few days to his nine years birthday his mother died, this incident made Koshan hate his nineth birthday and it also made him think of committing suicide but he always thought of Nanny and he would conclude to live again "just for nanny" he would say. Now Nanny was getting old he needed a steady income to take care of her that's when he got the job as a maid in the castle. Before he knew what was going on he felt someone's soft palm on his face, the touch made him fell like his mother was comforting his pain, before he realized it was the Princess "you look lost in your thoughts, would you love to share those thoughts with me" she said. Then he composed himself and said "sorry my lady, I've got some chores to do" Koshan left the Princess all alone in the garden.
