17. Green family (part 2)

When the husband and wife woke up, they found themselves in a foreign world. A world where the sun never shined.

Both Green duos begged the Eno man to return them back to their place, that they were willing to obey his every order like the promise made. But the man simply gave them a dark simple and said the deal need to happen here.

On the bright side, the Eno never hurt them. He explained one of his research and told them to help him with it. The man also explained to them about the vampire world and that the deal made was with a vampire.

The Eno was Jim. Another member of the Eno family. He was trying to create a blood substitute so that vampires didn't have to rely on humans' blood.

That was the research started by Vincent Eno, the one Jim was searching for.

Knowing the reason behind the research they decided to work harder than ever as humans were going to be safe from vampires with the final result. They started to see Jim as someone not so bad.

Cloning a human body always ended in failure. The body couldn't sustain the cells, and they would deteriorate too quickly. They would see a baby, age in front of their very eyes, before breaking down and turning to dust. They knew the hard truth that tampering with life was next to impossible. It was considered a taboo experiment. Yet they tried their best knowing it would save human life.

They then started to mix beast and man together. It sustained the cells for a longer period but eventually, it would break. Until one day Jim came and informed them about a newly captured beast. He also guarded them against seeing the beast as they could die just from feeling its presence. But when looking at it through the computer system, both of them noticed a different crystal inside the beast.

It looked broken yet immense energy was radiating from it.

Jim told them that the beast looked something similar to a two-headed dragon. It could morph its body. It had split in two, and while they had defeated one, the other had gone away.

Beasts at the higher tier could do some strange things, and it was theorized due to the strong beast crystal in their body, but if what they were saying was true, then the beast they had killed was only half of the beast. This was why the crystal also still seemed to be radiating with energy as if it was still alive.

After using the blood of the beast, a conclusive result happened. They had created a blood substitute for the vampires, but not just any, one that would even power the vampires with the strange energy. Jim was pleased with them and decided to return the Green duo back to their home.

However, there were a few errors with what they had created. The Dalki had a limited lifespan, and they were unable to reproduce. They were defective and incomplete. Tom and Emily concluded that it was due to the beast that was used being incompleted. If they had the other half, they could make the perfect clone. The Green made the man aware of this, but he said it didn't matter.

He truly thanked both of them from the bottom of his heart for helping him with his research and Jim continued the cloning on his own.

Upon their return, they thought everything was back to normal. The Green would continue living, creating their inventions, helping the human race advance, and raising a family. That's why one could imagine the shock and look on their faces when the Dalki that they had helped create had come to attack earth.

They didn't know what to do, who to tell their bizarre story to, and worse, how to fix all of this. Then the original Eno, the one who made the deal with them came. Richard Eno explained that he wasn't aware of the dalki as he didn't have any contact with the other vampire for a long time.

He asked the Green for funds and using that he spread technology to the world, spread knowledge of beast weapons, and more to help the humans fight back.

Since the war, Tom and Emily were trying their best to help humans fight against the dalki feeling partly responsible for creating these monsters.

The wars had been going on for 20 years and during those times Richard Eno had stopped visiting them and they were left alone. That was until today when Abraham came.

"I know it is hard to trust me, but I'm going to give you some proof that will show my take on this war. Can you search the name Abraham Talen". Seeing them still hesitating, Abraham decided to tell them a bit of his past. Immediately on a screen in the living room, the detail of a baby was shown. His name was Abraham Talen and his status was marked as deceased. There was also information about the event of death and the details about his parents.

"Yes, you guess right. That baby is me. After my birth, I was supposed to die shortly after my mom. But miraculously I survived. Fearing the world would turn me into a lab rat, my father decided to keep me a secret and faked my death."

" As you can see, the dalki was responsible for the death of my mother, they were the ones who made my father lose his arm. I was in such a life-and-death condition due to them. So you can imagine what I think about them. There was another reason for my sick condition as a baby. I was born with an ability. An ability that allowed me to see the past present and future events. That is why a special. I already know what the result of war is going to be. I even know about you and your child's future." Abraham could not help but remembered his time with his father Dracul when he talked about him. He also decided to tell some truth mixture of lies.

He could not say that he was reborn as a child and had read about the event in a novel during his past life.

Both husband and wife kept staring at Abraham not knowing what to say.

"Will humans survive? Will my son survive?" Emily could not stop her emotion and spoke in a loud tone.

"I can't tell you the future. If I do, then the future will change. I can just tell you to have faith in humans. Continue your life as it was happening and I'm sure at the end of the road you would find peace". Abraham decided to not inform them about the future event. He himself was trying not to change certain things in the main storyline. But he knew that his every single action was having a butterfly effect on the timeline.

By taking the vampire book system, he had already changed the event for Quinn, the main character in the novel.

After several discussions about Abraham's life and the dalki, both Green's members decided to help him.

"Can you search for a planet named Pioletic? If my timing is correct it should be a red planet. The military constructed a big base there but later due to a beast attack, it was destroyed and the military abandoned it." A second after Abraham described the planet, on the screen the planet was shown.

Also, both Tom and Emily's faith in Abraham's future sight ability was reinforced as the details of such events were kept as classified among the military. Only the higher-up of the military of the Green family who had created the system could get access to the data.

Both of them didn't ask any questions and started booking a ticket for Abraham. To do so, they had to create a fake traveler id. It was an easy feat as they were also the creator of the traveler system.

"What name would you like to display on your id and what level of ability?" Tom asked while staring at the screen.

"The One Above All, level 5 superhuman". Abraham smiled and remembered his goal. To reach above everyone else. Some years back, the idea of creating a Traveler job was created. Whenever one starts, they would get the "F" tag rank.

Everything was completed and Abraham was ready to travel. Before going he wanted to try one of the inventions of the Green family. Something that would help him gain fighting experience.

Even though Abraham had fought a lot during his previous life, he wasn't overconfident in every fight now. The situation was different. Now he was fighting against dalki, beasts, and humans with different abilities. Abraham was strong enough but against some abilities, strength didn't matter.

Abraham also requested Tom to buy a level 4 earth ability book, another level 4 ability book, a level 4 earth skill book, and a level 3 ability book. Abraham knew that the Green family was so rich that they could even buy multiple level 8 books but he decided to keep these demands for another time.

Tom Green brought Abraham into a room and inside it was a VR pod. Abraham was ready.
