Seraphina was stunned at Lucian's bold request. He wasn't shy that people were around listening on them and most especially, Esmeralda who wouldn't let it slip after this moment.

Lucian didn't really seem like he wanted an answer straight away but she knew he wouldn't let her be till she at least gave him an answer. "I-I will t-think about it?" She asked rather than saying with her still in her flustered state.

She could see a smirk on his face as he placed his hands back in his pocket before walking out the door, not saying a word and the smile not leaving his face either. "Oh la la." Esmeralda said from behind. "I'm jealous."

Seraphina's face was red in embarrassment and she just rushed after Lucian, trying not to make eye contact with anyone. "Don't do what I wouldn't do." Esmeralda called after her teasingly before turning to see Gabriel who was standing not far from where she stood, walking to one of the guards.
