A huge explosion resounds in my ears from all sides, I feel the earth rumble and the next moment the earth under my feet is sinking so fast that I only had a little time to grab Rai and Sayuki.

Then I felt like I was free falling down(?).

After those seconds I was able to process everything around me more clearly.

I observed that in front of my eyes the light coming from a hole was moving away from me- it would not be more correct to say that I was moving away from it, I was falling downwards.
