[*Cough* Anyway barring your rudeness, at the sanctum, you shall be given a rank according to the usefulness the supreme one sees in you. Well, it's not like the supreme ones will personally browse through every single one of you. The system designed by Hephaestus, The one you know of from Greek? Mythologies, I forget what you call them. Much like you, he is ugly, a disgrace to the Supreme and his only redeeming feature is that silly craftsman ability of his, quite handy]

I personally not being the greatest of people in terms of appearance felt sympathy for him and the fact that his very own wife cheated on him with another, multiple others. Well, it makes sense as she did govern over pleasure. My worst annoyance with her apart from the fact she cheated, was the fact she essentially gave a mans wife to another. This all stems from the fact Zeus gave the 'golden apple' for the fairest to Paris of Troy (actually just sent the Eris the goddess of strife who held the apple) and told him to give it to the most beautiful of the goddesses. After which, he gave the apple to Aphrodite (either happy or just for the sake of her own sick amusement) she gave him the gift of the hand of the most beautiful woman...Helen. The wife of Menelaus, the king of Sparta. The rest just goes on, King of Sparta became angry, I personally became annoyed at the meddling as well. Of course, the famous trojan horse won the Greeks the war after a ten-year war. I personally am a fan of Odysseus and an avid hater of Aphrodite but who knows? it might not have been her fault.

A quite grand set of doors appeared in front of me.

The grand doors opened up dramatically in slow motion

I beamed the biggest smile I could muster

I walked through the doors and into the blinding light that had forced me to close my eyes lest I burn my retinas off.

I was greeted with the sight of thousands of other people whom all seemed beautiful in terms of appearance... It seems like such a pain, everyone had a number above their heads, Which I presume, is their rank.

I walked down the stairs which had appeared below my feet. The sanctum was referred to grand for a reason. It was large, very large. Enough to accommodate more than a thousand. As I had reached the bottom of the stairs most eyes turned to stare at me, I was curious about the reason until I looked above my head and the number placed on it was [=3=]. I suppose I should act like a spoilt and arrogant lord now? I'm joking, by the way, there is no way I am going to embarrass myself to such an extent.

"Ah welcome, My name is Daniel what is yours?"

A man approached me, which caused people to stop staring me like I'm some exhibition, with the number [=16=] above his head. I say man, but he was just a teenager such as my self with blonde hair, brown eyes and was muscular for his age, slightly smaller than me, He had his left arm around a teenage girl with his hand resting on her chest in a perverse way. There was 1 boy and another girl stood to his left and 2 boys stood to his right. The girl seemed to not be very comfortable while he had his arm around her, shivering ever so slightly. The boy at the end on his right seemed meek and timid with bruises around his face, arms and neck also shivering but also sometimes stealing glances at the girl. The story has already started to play out. I assume that the boy's crush is the girl, however, she probably did feel safe with him or something along those lines and hooked up with Danie...

"Hello! Why are you ignoring me?" "Are you handicapped?"

Daniel interrupted my thought process... Maybe I should just kill him now.

"The name is Vexius" I finally responded

"Ahh, so you can speak!"-Daniel

"I've already introduced myself, so, this beautiful girl," he said while slightly groping her

"is Maria" The person, whom I assume is the protagonists crush, Donned black hair with light blue eyes and she was just shorter in height compared to Daniel. She had the number [=1364=]

The girl visibly shook which led to him to gripping harder

"I am Rosaline, you can come to me for anything, ANYTHING," said the girl that stood to his left in a provocative and seductive manner which I blatantly ignored. She was the same height as Maria and had black hair and had brown eyes. Her number was [=241=]

"I am Simon," said the boy to his left, he had blonde hair like Daniel and blue eyes, he was also taller than both me and Daniel, much muscular as well but the number above his head was [=23=]

"ANDDD you can call me Max" The boy to his right finally spoke out, he was the same height as me but was much skinnier. His number was [=17=] too cheerful for my liking.

One thing they all had in common was the fact that they were all attractive, even the timid boy, thinking of which, he had yet to introduce himself. So I looked towards him curious of his introduction.

"Go on, Introduce yourself" He moved away from Maria (who now seemed relieved) and whispered to the boy in glasses something I could barely hear...

"Maria tasted quite nice, but you wouldn't know would you, glasses? Now Introduce yourself before I cripple you"

The boy In glasses froze...An awkward silence seemed to descend in the boisterous sanctum.

"I HATE YOU, YOU BAS..."

While screaming the boy in glasses swung his fist aiming for Daniel's temple, a good choice, however, he was too slow and was punched in the stomach by Daniel instead. The rhythmic beating of the boy in glasses started. I watched the shift of a character's personality, it is interesting to me.

Drip! Drip! Drip!

Blood started to emerge from the mouth and nose of the boy in glasses he seemed to be on the brink of collapse while the others were laughing. His crush seems to be fidgeting nervously...how entertaining. Daniel got up from beating the boy and looked at me as if wanting praise like a child. It seems like it is over, I looked at the boy struggling to breathe lying bloodied on the ground.

I turned to face Maria, as I was curious about her reaction.

"No...Im. Not... DO...ne" The boy in glasses said.

I looked back to see him once again stand up... I couldn't help but break into a large smile.

That's it... Like a true protagonist.

Daniel reached his bloody knuckles back to once again launch a punch, but I grabbed his arm before he could.

For such an interesting show maybe I will help him once.

I once again Turned to the boy, "what's your name?" I asked.

No answer... Oh well, maybe I will ask him again if we ever meet again as I am bored of this show.

"What are you doing?" Daniel turned to glare at me, guess he did not care about the rankings all too much, who knows, maybe the rankings aren't based on combat prowess alone. Let's hurt him a bit, not so much so that it messes with their story. I met his glare head on and as the fist I had thrown was about to sink into his face, a loud clap resounded through the sanctum.
