She’s Acting Weird…

I was just sleeping at night until I heard whispers from the room across from mine. That room belonged to my twin sister, Kiana. I checked the time and saw it was 2 am in the morning. How is Kiana still awake at this time? I should go check on her.

I stood up from my bed and quietly tip-toed towards Kiana's room, making sure I don't make a sound. Apparently I wasn't quiet enough because the whispers suddenly stopped and the door opened.

"Do you need something?" Kiana asked.

"Oh nothing, nothing at all. It's just that I heard some noises coming from your room." I whispered, I didn't want to wake up mom and dad after all.

"I didn't hear a thing, you're probably hallucinating." She said.

"I see…well then, goodnight Kiana."

"Night, Sierra."

I walked back to my room but before closing my door I looked back towards Kiana. She was staring at me, making sure I closed the door to my room first before closing hers. She had a persistent look in her eyes, it was like she was begging me to go back to my room quickly and quietly as possible. And so I did, but not before observing her room. It was dark, as always. The more that I think about it I never went in there after she'd been acting strange. It made me curious to see what that room actually looked like now.

Before making it too obvious that I was observing the inside of her room I quietly went back inside of mine. I made sure to lock my door and windows as well, it's not that I don't feel safe around her but because she's acting strange. Who knows, she might appear in front of me while I'm sleeping.
