Ron stared at Julia with a fierce glare that made it seem like he wanted to swallow her whole.
"Foolish man! You'll never be capable of going against Rex."
Julia looked down on Ron with eyes full of disgust, disdain, and indifference — this was how she viewed him from the start.
If not for Ron's instructions, she would have never been able to pretend to be a gentle and virtuous woman in front of him.
As for how Rex was better than Ron?
Other than not having Rex's indifference and ruthless means, nothing else made him stand out.
In her view, Ron couldn't even compare to one of Rex's shoes.
