Cold sweat poured down Bang's back. If he said no to Ligi's request, Ligi would have lost his trust over Bang. That was more important than any amount of money. How could he have been so blind?
If mot for Gotang's wise words, he would not have thought twice about his decision, which would ripple throughout their future. He would have only looked at the immediate profits, not the consequences it brought.
He looked at Ligi's moist eyes and nodded his head. He now knew that he should accept him, so he let Ligi speak to the three thieves.
"Why did you do it?"
Ligi guessed that there was something wrong with the robbery in town. If the three thieves' goal were to get money, they would not have hired guards to protect them. He walked up to them and squatted as he met them eye to eye.
