Azrael created a scythe out of the reddish-black rotting sludge on its body. It glowed a bright red light on the sharp edge, creating an intimidating feeling. The air around it rotted with black smoke signaling its reaction.
The rotting sludge gathered at the edge of the scythe as Azrael launched it towards Isiah. It rotted the air as it traveled at fast speeds.
"Ferali Rubigine"
With its fists having a sharp crystal on the knuckles, Raguel moved as it punched the ground. It glowed with a blue light as crystal mounds traveled from the soil towards Isiah.
"Solidum Coronam"
One from the bottom and one on the top attacked Isiah as he hovered less than a meter away from the ground. The black strings that kept him afloat did not move an inch as the two attacks came towards him.
Isiah eyed the two attacks, squinting his eyes as he did so. Black powder gathered in his arms, spiraling in a pattern on his palms. It burst forth from his hands towards his whole body.
It spiraled around him, creating a cylindrical web of black strings. It continued to form into a strange shape as the cylinder grew two smaller cylinders at its side. A sphere grew on top of the cylinder as everyone recognized the irregular shape; it was a humanoid shape.
More black strings came out of Isiah's hands as minute details filled the black humanoid figure that enclosed his whole body. The black lines moved at top speeds as it wholly formed a bigger version of Isiah's physique.
"Soot of suits."
Isiah's protective outer body made of black strings formed just in time for the two attacks to reach him. Raguel's attack came first as the bluish-black crystal burst out of the ground as flashed an intense blue light.
The crystal exploded and expanded into a semi-circular shape, similar to a peacock's tail. The crystal crown pierced into Isiah's black shell and was stopped in its tracks.
The bluish-black crystal trued to penetrate deeper into the shell, but the strain was too much to bear as it shattered into pieces.
Azrael's rotting attack came second as it directly collided with the shell's upper body. The horizontal slash splashed and spread all over the shell's body. The black string that made up the shell started to rot and create black sludge that flowed on the ground.
The shell disintegrated, leaving Isiah's unharmed body open for everyone to see. They saw him smile, joyful at his triumph against the two monstrous demons.
"Tsk...this body is too weak for me, brotherrrrr."
Raguel frowned with its crystal eyebrows, indicating its frustration. The ground solidified and turned into crystals as it tried to muster up the power to try and show its lethal skills, but it was no use.
"It's commendable...that you.... can...reach this...power but...don't get...too cocky...kid."
Azrael pointed its scythe towards Isiah, warning the kid of his manners. Their presumable age and wisdom allowed them to keep a cool head and not act too reckless against the boastings of a kid.
"Again, with this crap, don't make excuses if you can't fight me."
Isiah opened and closed his fists, stretching them for the fight. He once again gathered his strength in his hands as black powder floated around him.
"Now, it is my turn."
Isiah's black powder gathered into a thin edge, creating a black sword similar to the one he used before. He grabbed it in mid-air and examined its sharpness before using it.
*swish* *swish*
Feeling its effectiveness, he sliced the air as practice and created a swishing sound. The sword did not give off any light from the reflection of the dim surroundings. It was pitch black, creating an ominous feeling.
"Soot of embers."
When Isiah used this skill before, he sliced the air and launched a thin black powder blade that burned as it traveled in the air. This scenario did not happen as Isiah threw the whole sword towards the two demons.
It traveled horizontally, pointing directly at the two demons. It did not immediately incinerate itself as Isiah gathered his hands into a ball.
Blair and Bodt, who were waiting in the sideline with their eyes completely black, moved simultaneously with Isiah as he moved his hands. Their bodies were in complete control by Isiah, giving no need for human error.
Blair gathered black powder at her hands and created a black umbrella at her side. Bodt did the same as a gigantic flail appeared at his hands.
Bodt swung his flail around him, creating tremendous momentum and releasing it outwards. The flail was not targeted towards the two demons but instead was on the sword traveling in the air.
Blair did the same as she threw her umbrella, javelin-style, towards the black sword.
Bodt's flail reached the black sword and did not collide with it as expected. It instead dispersed into black powder and gathered into a small spherical object at the sword's tip.
Blair's umbrella came next as it disassembled itself and combined with the sword. The main part of the umbrella, the canopy, attached itself to the blade, creating a miniature umbrella with the edge as the shaft.
The mixture of the weapons that created this monstrous attack whizzed through the air and towards the two demons.
The two demons eyed the attack with renewed seriousness, their thoughts revolving with mystery. Their feet were planted on the ground with no indication of dodging the attack.
Even if they tried to dodge the attack, it would have been too late as the new weapon's tip exploded into a crisscross of black strings that created a net. The net captured the two demons in place and ensured they had no place to retreat.
The net shrunk and pulled the two demons together into one single place. The rocket continued to fly through the air unimpeded and into the bodies of the two monsters.
*BOOM*
A bright light blinded everybody, followed by an immense explosion that sounded throughout the valley, creating shockwaves emanating from the point of collision. A mushroom cloud blurred the scene as black powder started to rain down from the sky.
The explosion made the hearts of the Defending Tip stop in anxiousness. The level of power and destruction from that rocket single-handedly destroyed their hopes, not only for this fight but also their future.
They did not think that power could reach that level of damage. Their puny sword and their soft armor would not do anything against one of those. They felt the immense difference between them and an upper-echelon group
*cough* *cough*
Someone from their group started to cough as they inhaled some of the black powder that rained down on them. They could feel their bodies as it began to feel sluggish as even moving one step was comparatively harder than before.
Lobo immediately recognized the threat and acted as a leader.
"Cover your face with a cloth. Don't inhale more of the black powder!"
Lobo shouted out commands quickly and without hesitation. His words naturally came out of his mouth without thinking like a leader would, like Gotang would.
Lobo followed his own words and covered his face with his shirt, filtering out the black powder before it infiltrated his lungs. Of course, not all of the black powder was filtered out as they all felt their movements become sluggish. Thankfully, it was not to the point of incapacity as they only felt a little inconvenience.
Bang heard Lobo's instruction and covered his face with his shirt. His eyes squinted, looking at the mushroom cloud of smoke that came from the explosion. He did not know if even the demons could overcome that kind of attack and come out with their bodies intact.
The wind whistled in the distance and dispersed some of the smoke around the area. Little by little, the smoke cleared and revealed the silhouettes of the two demons intact. Bang held his breath as he looked at the two demons, wondering if they were alive or not.
Raguel's bluish-black body revealed itself for everyone to see. Its body was intact, but it was clearly damaged for the worse. Its crystalline body was now riddled with shattered glasses and missing pieces. Its left arm was missing and still had black soot smudged on its remaining stump. It sacrificed its left hand to fend off the explosion.
Azrael's body did not fare much better. Its wings were gone entirely and dispersed into the wind. Its reddish-black body was smudged with black soot and indented a circle the size of a fist. It was on one of its knees, panting and trying to recover from the blast.
Isiah looked towards the two demons with raised eyebrows. He did not think that the two demons would survive the rocket with only a few minor injuries. By his calculation, they should have been on their death beds by now, but for some reason, they were still alive.
He looked towards the two demons and spoke with a lighthearted tone.
"Do you want some more?"
