Once out of the cave, Bang still didn't feel safe. He took Ligi's arm and put it on his shoulder and walked further away from the cave.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, Bang collapsed on the ground and panted.

That was a really close call to death. If he weren't lucky, they would have definitely died. Bang's heart was still racing through the roof.

Ligi wasn't any better off. He had now passed out after using all his strength to defend against the Limaw. He was exhausted but he also felt relieved.

This feeling of protecting himself using his own power was new to him. He was not useless. In fact, he was very useful in the fight against the Limaw. He slept peacefully while thinking those thoughts.

Still vigilant, Bang looked around for any movements that might come out. This fight made hime realize one thing, he needed something to protect himself.

Suddenly, a thought popped up in his head that interrupted his thoughts.

In the thick of the moment, he forgot he had all those notifications popping up in his head. Looking through the store options, Bang noticed the information and wish option.

'What is that information and wish? Does it depend on the difficulty of the thing?'

'Information will give you straight facts while wish will generate a quest that will lead to the desired wish.'

'Then, can I wish for my own power?'

As he thought that, a notification popped up in his head.

'Then can't I just use an essence to power up?'

After a second, the system continued with a warning.

'I suggest owner to not use the essence in powering up your crew members.'

'Why not? Does it have side effects?'

'No, it does not have side effects but it limits the potential of the user.'

Bang needed to know more about this world. He couldn't just dally around anymore. This is real life and he could actually die.

'I'll get my revenge on those muscle heads, but not now. I'm still weak and I still don't know much about the world.'

Bang swore to himself that he would not let those traitors slide.

First, he needed something to protect himself. He looked at the store options and bought the self defense option.

Bang looked at the next thing he could buy that would be useful and he saw the mini map upgrade.

Because of the uselessness of the original mini map, Bang forgot that he even had this skill. If the effective range wasn't so short, it would have been useful in the fight against the Limaw.

'I'll buy the mini map upgrade.'

Once again, Bang felt a blinding light as he closed his eyes. This time, the discomfort lasted longer than the first one.

As he opened his eyes, he saw the mini map in his mind. It was bigger than the previous one and its' quality was better. From a 2m radius it now became a 4m radius.

It was still unhelpful but Bang will take everything he could get.

With nothing left to buy in the self option, Bang set his eyes on the crew option.

With 550 wp left, he could unlock another crew member.

'Should I unlock another crew member?..... yeah I should. Now that I know how powerful they could be, I would need that strength.'

Using the mini map on Bang's head, the system showed him the general location to where Suno town was. It didn't even give him an estimate on how long the journey will be. How useless.

Since Ligi was still deep in his sleep, he decided to rest for a while. He walked next to a tree and leaned on it. As his eyes were about to close, he remembered how this forest was supposed to be dangerous.

His adrenaline once again boosted up and he lost his drowsiness.

'Hey system, how can I make sure to be safe while we rested.'

'....'

'Fine, I'll buy the information.'

Bang had no choice but to keep on spending money. His safety was his number one priority right now. Besides, he still had excess wp to spend right now so better to spend it on himself.

The system didn't answer as if the matter wasn't on it's own hands.

That price blew Bang's mind. It was significantly more expensive than his other two requests.

'Why is it so goddamn expensive? Are you mad at me because I interrupted you?'

Bang really couldn't understand his system. Thinking of their journey, he let it go. It's best he preserve his strength now and not argue with his system.

'Fine.'

Now that he had some peace, Bang decided to close his eyes and sleep. This past few days had been very stressful and life shortening. He really needed more power in order to survive.

If he couldn't power up himself, he will power up his crew.

Bang gathered up some leaves and put it on himself and Ligi. He put a lot of time in powering up Ligi. Ligi was his only source of defense, so he doesn't want him to die while sleeping.

Waking up with the sun still no rising, he heard a sound.

He immediately woke himself up and stood up. He looked around frantically for any threat to his life but only saw Ligi.

Ligi was intently staring at his surroundings. He looked ready for a fight and his shield was up.

Seeing the serious Ligi, Bang decided to stay close to Ligi and use him as a shield.

After a while, nothing happened. Bang was confused to the serious demeanor of Bang. He decided to ask the man himself.

"Hey Ligi, what are you doing?"

"I'm protecting you."

"Okay..Protecting me from what?"

"Nothing yet"

Bang was speechless.
