The display was exemplary, but Herriot knew that no magic in this world—even for the two of them—would not be taking a huge toll on someone's physique. Even Larkin would fall victim to that fact—if he wasn't depending on Artie's constitution. Just earlier, she cast the same spells that Larkin would use, and it wasn't lost to Herriot. It also didn't escape him that Artie was inarguably very exhausted now.
If she wasn't, she wouldn't be just standing there like a buzzing bee.
Herriot had killed the boss and the others so he was free to leave his post. He flew straight at Artie while watching the situation underneath them. After a few minutes, the demon servants were all killed. They were simply outnumbered by the soldiers. The prince flew next to her and held onto one of her arms. "There are no more enemies on the ground. The fires are also extinguished."
