To be honest, Artie was used to the flashiness of the things she was gifted with by the Heaven's Creation system. From the weapons she could get to the oppressive nature of the demon soul rings, she was really excited to see what a territory-wide gift would look like. However, the most she saw earlier was the place getting slightly darker for a moment. Before she could spot the origins of the darkness, it had already receded.
It was utterly disappointing. Moreover, everything felt the same so she wasn't sure that the shroud was activating. If the system didn't notify her that the shroud had activated successfully, she wouldn't even know that it was over. All in all, it was the first time she felt that it was rather lackluster.
