Karn has come to Metropolis again. He needed to debut as a villain. He chose this city because this has the most chances of people surviving from his attack due to Superman.

He was a good person in heart except his heart was black.

Karn went to a famous foodtruck and ate a lot. He was able to recreate the Half-energy body with the help of his Technowore skill. He got the information and use from the Gloomy forest last time and Lexcorp has everything to combat against Superman. One such machine along with the combination of others created a new super machine. He call it his versions of Super Soldier serum chamber. He was only half successful though.

Karn was waiting for Superman to show up for more than an hour. There are no signs of him. As if he had gone somewhere else. He chose to wait. His purpose was to have a small fight against the Superman and then to debut via that fight.

Why? Because he needed the trust of a few people to get closer to them before gaining the data of all their dark history and killing them.

He would have just killed them without anycare for in his previous life. But he has seen the fickleness of humans in his past life. That would only work when he is in the shadows but it would cause unnecessary attacks on the superheros side.

Simply because they were unable to stop him. This would in return create a friction between him, the villain and the heroes and the human law system.

This could lead to an ending which Net geek has told him to not reach at any case.

Superman turning evil. According to Net geek, that dude can travel faster than light and could destroy the current him without him even knowing. Everyone has their bottom lines. Once crossed, then a beast comes and eat you alive.

Along with the fact that Superman was the whole reason for the existence of DC Verse. This wasn't a fiction anymore. This was his home now and if the world really revolves around Superman as Net geek said, then him trying to kill him can cause the whole world to become his enemy.

'I am not that strong like Gloomy forest, won't I be having the worst of my life here. Even Gloomy forest was trapped for six years in Shrek due to messing with the world there. Huh, This skill should have been given to Net geek, with his mind and the minerals available in the Xian Xia realm, he would have been able to do anything, everything.'

What is the point of whining right now?

He was not a coward but if what that God said is right then he needs to change his mentality and do good deeds. He doesn't need to be the good person, he just need to do good deeds.

And what good deed is better than saving the world. The main reason being he was unable to make him serve himself as a goody two shoes and a servant to others.

Like he had to go everytime someone stupid was in danger whether he was eating, working or simply dozing off. He even have to do night shifts!

Why, just for those things! Nah. He will not do that.

That's why he reached the conclusion that he should be a hero.

So he was searching for Superman in Metropolis.

Superman at this time was in the watchtower along with Batman, Wonder Woman and someone else. They were going to Apokolips to save Supergirl. They would need 8 to 12 hours to get the machine running.

Superman has left Superboy to protect Metropolis and Batman has left the city to his sidekicks. Wonder woman, was tagging along, just in case. A few others were also going but they were extra side characters so no need to inform about them.

Meanwhile

Karn was bored of waiting for Superman. He started to doze off.

'will see him when he comes, for now, let's sleep a little'

He went to sleep in his hotel room.

Superman and Batman along with their crew has reached Apokolips and were having a brawl with Darkseid and his goons.

Meanwhile in Earth.

Karn was washing up. His Japanese habits of bathing twice a day was something he never stopped. He liked it. The feeling of cold water getting on his body, revitalizing it. Making it feel like he was reborn. He liked that feeling.

It was nighttime and he heard a boom. A car just passed by him. Except he was in his bath half naked and his bath was on the seventh floor.

'And that's why I don't want to be a hero. You can't even take a bath in silence here.'
