Karn finished his breakfast and went to a take a stroll in the Gotham Park.

"Now, how do I attack and finish the ARGUS facility. Hmm, I could just hack the whole facility with my Technomancer after that I just need to kill all the researchers. Mission complete. I can leave the aftermaths to the League and when they will be busy with that, I can go and kill the Pentagon member."

"The technology and weapons that I will gain from the ARGUS should be enough to increase my overall abilities."

Karn thought while looking at the police vehicles that were passing by him.

He remembered the contents of the news that he saw in the morning about Batman and his bat family being missing.

"Who cares." Karn said and ignored the problem of the missing Bat Family.

Batman being missing was beneficial to him as he won't have the shadiest and the second most paranoid man on the planet behind him.

Karn although he didn't care about the Bat family, he was curious about what happened to them.

In all his previous life, he hadn't read that much comics because his parents never let him to. It was only after his parents died that he started reading manga, mainly the h ones.

After that he joined the organization and then... and what happened then is a tale for another time.

The current situation was that another two police cars just happened to pass Karn.

'Huh, are they trying to capture me or is it just a coincidence?'

Karn used his skill to sense the location of all the Police vehicles in the Gotham.

Most of the police cars were coming in his direction but not for him. Their destination just happened to be in the direction that he was going to.

He guessed that something must have happened for all the police cars to be going there.

He changed his destination and chose to return home.

It was 9 am in the morning and he had a whole day to do nothing. He already knew the location of the ARGUS facility. He already had the best stealth technology on the planet. He already had a one step plan to attack ARGUS.

He already had an escape plan ready and he already had the location of the Pentagon member that he was going to kill.

So as a result of all this, he had nothing to do for the whole day. He was getting bored.

He chose to read some books.

15 hours later.

Karn put down his 28th book and stretched a little. He had been reading for nearly 15 hours and his body had become stiff as an erect rock.

Karn got up and started to perform calisthenics to loosen his body so he could properly use it for the upcoming mission.

A few minutes later, Karn was flying towards the direction of the ARGUS facility.

An hour later.

1 am.

Karn was in front of the ARGUS. He was using the distortion barrier to hide himself.

He slowly got closer to the wall of the ARGUS facility and touched it.

Blue Lines started to spread on the walls of the ARGUS facility at a sub relavistic speed.

[Just think of the upgrade gobbling up the whole machinery but generator Rex style. I simple words, It was like how generator Rex summons his weapons.]

The whole facility form inside out got covered with the blue lines in a circuit pattern.

Karn quickly used his skill to scan, mimic and upgrade all the machine in the Argus. After that, terminator happened. All the researchers of the Argus facility got killed.

Everything happened in less than a minute.

The blue lines began to disappear along with the technical technology. Everything disappeared. Even the cameras and smart toilets were not spared.

Outside the ARGUS facility, Karn slowly began to fly towards the direction of the Pentagon member.

The attack in the ARGUS facility was completed. The experimented people were set free and the league was informed about them.

His work was finished, so Karn chose to hunt the Pentagon member. He was in his Brynhildr form with both the distortion and defence barriers working at their maximum efficiency while rapidly flying towards the direction of the Pentagon member.

His current speed was around 250 m/s and he should be able to reach the target within 1 hour.

'I need to upgrade the flight system. This much is not worthy of my brilliance; and to escape in emergenciessssss'

*BANG*

!!?!?

Karn was thinking while flying when he suddenly got smashed by a flying object that he couldn't even see.

The impact was so much that he flew 12 kilometres away from his previous position.

"What t ugh fahk ? What haven to mil?" Karn was barely able to speak. His consciousness was getting blurry. In his last moments, he commanded his skill to auto pilot the suit to as far away as it can before he passed out.

He was fine although he was just barely alive.

Due to no other commands initiation and the lack of any technological advancements or enhancement to heal his body, the Brynhildr suit wasn't providing any aid.

If not for the fact that he had ingested the half energy serum, he would have died long away. The passive effect of the serum was keeping him alive by providing him enough energy to keep his biological systems running.

The Brynhildr suit flew at full speed and in an hour, it reached Karn's home and laued him down on the floor with the armour providing temperature regulation.

Karn was lying unconscious on the floor. Little did he know that his actions that night were going to become a typhoon that will ravage his life.
