Debut like a Psycho

Gotham City

Later that day.

"Gotham is a good place."

Karn said while standing in front of a house that has all the connections be it water, electricity or gas.

He was in the outskirts of Gotham City and he was searching for a house as a hideout.

He found this one. The best thing, he didn't need to pay. It was abandoned. Meaning he would not have to register himself to the Gotham City community etc. He didn't need to give his identity.

There will be no legal proof that he ever lived in Gotham. He liked that.

With a simple use of his skill and the house was ready for him to use.

He really liked his Technowore skill. It could basically do anything he wanted it to do. It was like a child between Venom and Upgrade.

He started to make some Biryani for himself.

Why?

Because he was going to eat it at night. It was still morning.

His Half-energy body was working perfectly.

He was going to use it as his superpower. He needed atleast a good lie. His Technowore skill was something he didn't want anyone to know.

He knew the things that his skill could do if an evil scientist get his hands on it. He was not a smartass guy. He was called a know it all as a sarcasm.

He actually didn't know everything. If he did then he code name would have been omniscient instead of know it all.

He started to assess the situation of Gotham on a deeper level. He was not able to do it last time he came here.

He needed to know who was the one that was responsible for the death fo his parents in this life.

He was doing it to get an alibi and secondly because he wanted to.

Later that night

Karn was slowing walking from the factory. His clothes were a little wet due to the rain. He was whistling while walking.

There was no one in his path. He safely reached his home and started to eat the Biryani. It was good. Really good.

Due to Half-energy physique he was not able to eat that much as the energy to consumption ratio was a little high for him. He went to a nearby orphanage and gave it to them.

There was just one problem. He was still wearing his vigilante uniform. They were a little scared of him but his next sentence finally made them agree.

"Hi, I am Black Lotus. Here is the food. I need the container back so can you eat it, like right now. If you do, then I won't kill you. If you don't, then look at the bloodstains on my boots. They are from humans."

The Matron took the food from the container with shaking hands. She was even crying.

She fed the children the dish and called the Gotham City hospital.

Fifteen minutes later, the container was empty and all the kids full. Even the matron was forced to eat.

"Good kids. See you in heaven."

Karn as Black Lotus went away after saying this.

He came to this orphanage after seeing that they have applied for the food funds a month ago and the funds were still not given.

Most of the kids were malnourished and three kids had even died in the past 15 days. He chose to gave them his Biryani.

They were vary of him and the second matron even dialed the police secretly. That's why he forced them to eat it in front of him. He was worried that they would throw it away if he was to give them like takeovers.

This city is rotten. Rapes happen everywhere, so children being abducted from the orphanages were not a new thing. They would not believe him.

That's why he became the bad guy because humans follow the villains more than heroes. They have the habit of taking heroes for granted.

And he had already cut the telephone line of their home before he went to greet them.

Overall it was a criminal activity no matter how you see it.

He returned to his home. There was no guy with eyepatch or a Bat costume waiting for him.

Perfect execution!

He came to his home and then went to sleep after casting a barrier outside his house.

[That sounds like a magical world]

That morning

All the city and the Police Department were in an uproar.

A new vigilante has appeared and destroyed Sionis's gang members. All the gang members have their joints broken. They can never move.

"So, what happened was.

Black Lotus entered the factory from the back door normaly.

He used his bow and arrows to get rid of all the gang members and then saluted towards the hidden camera that you hide to find clues about Batman."

James Gordon asked the reporter.

He was shocked by the cruelty of the new Vigilante. That person was ruthless.

He came from the backdoor and fired thirty two arrows in just five seconds. All on the joints of the mobsters. After that he picked out the arrows from their bodies while destroying their other joints.

He picked the leader of the mobsters here and dragged him by his hair. His body was hanged outside but he too was alive.

He was doing things as if he had done them thousands of time. They was no hesitation or fear in his actions. He even wrote his name and saluted to the hidden camera. As if they would not be able to tell that it was him.

He was a professional. Psychopath at that. Those were the traits of psychopaths. They gain a weird elation when they are in the limelight.

Joker was like that. So were the other criminals in Gotham.

Commissioner Gordon sighed. New villains and superheroes were coming to light. The world was changing and it will be normal people like them who would suffer if any of the them clashed with the other.

He need to inform the Batman about this.

'But as usual he must have already know by then.'

Karn was reading the Gotham newspaper. His was on the second page. Just below Penguin gangs fight for the control of Gotham harbour.

The first page news was about Joker. He has not attacked in the past three months and people were having polls about whether he is dead or not. The news below is about the Wayne industries collaboration with the Lexcorp.

"Are the people masochists in Gotham. Isn't it good that Joker has not attacked in the past three months. Are they taking it as the calm before the storm? Who knows."

He continued reading the paper.

Poison Ivy killed a few people because they harmed her plants.

Harley Quinn painted the Police car pink.

Killer Croc was found eating humans again.

Riddler opened a riddle park.

Malcone family got a new area under their control.

Maroni family helped them.

A reporter by the name of Karn Jagannath is missing...

Gotham University had a fist fight.

"Huh, wait."

Karn read the news on the last page again.

"A reporter by the name of Karn Jagannath is missing. He came to Gotham in the search of the new villain Brynhildr. Last night his bail papers and other things were found near the Gotham Harbour. If anyone has any..."

"What the, I threw them away because they were not mine. I just took them away from the person who was nearly dying. Well, good for me. Now I have another alibi."

Karn ignored the other news and closed the newspaper. He took his glass of milk and drank it.

"Having powers is super good."
