Seeing her getting embarrassed by my such action is worth it 'so cute!'.

As we were flirting while walking down the temple steps a blast happens at the top of the hill. Seeing the blast we ran to the top to the temple by covering ourselves in the aura. As we reach the top we saw the front gate was destroyed and Arito Sensei was laid sprawled in the middle of the crater where once the shrine stood and surrounding him their stood two-person with bat-like wings sprouting from behind their back.

I didn't get to register what was happening in front of me that Sakura rushed past me flaring her chi to the maximum in panic "Sensei!".

"What! what is a youkai doing here?"

On the other side, Sakura was throwing the second person like a rag doll she was beating him with a tree, she picked up an uprooted tree which fell during their confrontation and was using it as a bat. Sensing her emotional turmoil I rushed to her and hold her shoulder while picking up a bokken sprawled on the ground.

"Sakura stop he can't fight any more"

"But! but...he" She had tears in her eyes "They killed him."

Then we heard Arito-sensei moan in pain turning toward the voice I said to her "Go to old man help he needs help"

Hearing me she rushed to him leaving the tree behind. Then I turned toward the person lying in the crater in front of me he had a broken nose, broken hand and a broken leg turned toward a weird direction, I am sure it does not turns in that direction, he was in very bad shape was an understatement I pretty sure if that was a human he would be dead long ago but that thing in front of me still had a decent life force inside him, It might be due to he was not human because of his bat-like wings and different kind of presence I can sense from him.

I walked toward him and crouched down to his level and tried to fix his face which was beautiful despite being beaten black and blue by a 10-year-old girl. After fixing his face so that he can talk first thing he did was threatened me.

"Hey you youkai did you know whom you messed with?'

"No! you tell me?"

" I am Cain from Zagan Familly of 72 pillars of the underworld"

Hearing the word 72 pillars of the underworld reminded me of something it was like lightning. 'No, nonono! I have to know more to for my speculation'
