You are mine, Rapunzel

Hazel

I turn my face towards where the bullet came from, and there's Dino standing with a gun. He has a murderous look on his face.

The look he was giving was terrifying, it seemed like he could kill us with his eyes alone.

If killing with eyes were possible, Felix and I would have been dead by now.

Dino walked in angrily, lifted Felix by the throat, and threw him to the ground. He was swearing in Russian and continuously hitting him with his leg, cursing nonstop.

Dino bent down, grabbed Felix by his hair, and brought him up to his face level. Then he asked, 'How dare you touch my Rapunzel with these filthy hands?'

'S-sorry, s-sorry sir... I... I didn't touch her. I was just helping her.'

'Helping her?' Huh?" he said, looking around, and then he noticed a fork stuck near the carpet. He bent down a little and picked it up.

'Which hand did you help her with? Tell me, with which hand did you touch her?' he shouted loudly, and I moved further back in fear. He was asking Felix, but the scene was extremely terrifying.

Felix lifted his left hand, which was trembling excessively, and I could feel my body trembling in sync. I looked at his hand and grabbed a fork, stabbing him in his palm. Felix cried out in pain, but not a sound escaped his lips. However, I shouted loudly, as if the fork had pierced my own hand.

Dino suddenly turned his neck towards me, his eyes blazing with anger. He didn't release Felix's hand but continued to stab him repeatedly while staring at me. Felix was crying in agony.

I felt that the more I worried for Felix, the angrier Dino became. I was perplexed, unsure of what to do.

"Dino, please let him go! I'm the one who grabbed his hand," I pleaded, trembling with fear. Dino released Felix's hand and stood still, his eyes locked on mine. "Why?" he asked gruffly.

"I'm sorry," I apologized, unsure why the words escaped my lips, but desperate to save Felix. As Dino freed Felix, I felt a glimmer of hope, wondering if he would spare his life.

"Why, Rapunzel, why?" Dino asked, a sly smile spreading across his face as he turned to leave.

"Why is my baby defending him? He's just a nobody, a mere motherfuck," he muttered, his voice laced with disdain.

I rushed to clarify, "No, Dino, you've got it wrong. He didn't touch me inappropriately. He was just comforting me."

Dino's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing as he sat beside me on the bed.

"You're so innocent, baby," Dino whispered, his fingers tracing my hand. A faint, unsettling smile flickered across his face before vanishing.

His grip on my chin tightened. "Who does he think he is, comforting you, Rapunzel? That's my job, no one else's."

Dino's eyes blazed with fury as he turned to Felix and delivered a vicious kick to his face. Felix's mouth spilled blood as Dino continued the relentless assault.

"Dino, stop!" I begged, but he ignored my pleas, lost in his rage.

"Are you comforting her?" Dino growled, seizing Felix's shoulder and striking him across the face. "How dare you! She's mine alone to comfort ."

With a fierce cry, Dino slammed Felix's head into the mirror door, shattering it. Felix collapsed, surrounded by shards of glass.

As Felix moaned in pain,Until then, I felt paralyzed, as if I'd been stung. But shaking off my shock, I quickly rose from the bed and rushed to Dino, grabbing his hand.

"Dino, stop!" I pleaded, trying to restrain him.

"Please, Dino. Please leave him," I said, my voice trembling as I struggled to maintain composure. My hands shook uncontrollably, yet I still couldn't bring myself to release his grip.

"Do you want me to leave him?"

"Yes, please, Dino. I'm begging you."

"What will I get in return, Rapunzel?" he asked, a hint of mischief in his voice.

"Huh?" I was taken aback, unsure of how to respond. I looked at him with doubt clouding my thoughts.

"Tell me, baby, what will you give me if I let him go?" His tone was gentle, yet there was an underlying seriousness that made my heart race.

"What do you want?" I managed to reply, fear creeping into my voice. I didn't know what to say, but I felt an overwhelming sense of dread that something terrible was about to happen. This fear had been lingering in my mind for some time, and perhaps this moment was the culmination of it all.

The moment he heard my hesitation, he turned fully towards me, swaying slightly as he did. "You are not going to touch another man, baby, okay?"

"Huh?" I was confused. Was he saying that I shouldn't touch another man? I didn't speak; instead, I locked my gaze with his, searching for answers in his eyes.

He didn't wait for my response. Instead, he pressed on, "You are not going to touch another man, Rapunzel. Am I clear?"

"Y-yes," I stammered, feeling a mix of fear and resignation.

"Good girl," he said, patting my hand and glancing over at felix. Felix was trying to get up from the pool; he had just managed to stand on his legs when Dino spoke again.

"And I'll make sure no one can touch you. Rapunzel." he said with a strange smile. The moment I heard those words, a chilling fear washed over me, creeping into every corner of my body. His smile was unsettling, a mix of possessiveness and madness that sent shivers down my spine. I felt a primal instinct to flee, to escape the suffocating atmosphere that surrounded us. The weight of his words lingered in the air, and I knew he meant every one of them.

His voice came again, softer now, almost a whisper, "You don't need to be afraid of me, Rupanzel. I'm here to protect you." But those words felt like a lie, wrapped in a facade of care. The very thought of his so-called protection made my skin crawl.

"No one will ever hurt you again," he continued, the intensity in his eyes unwavering. I wanted to believe him, but deep down, I knew that the only person I needed protection from was him.

Dine looked toward Felix and released his gripen me. He had a gun in his hand, and in an instant, he fired a bullet. The shot struck Felix squarely in the forehead, and he collapsed into the pool.

"You are mine, Rapunzel."

for a few seconds, there was silence. The only sound was the echo of the gunshot ringing in my ears. Finally, after what felt like an eternity. I regained my voice and screamed, "felix!"
