My Secret Within

I thought I would have a normal life. You know, go to school, get a job and possibly have kids. But that all changed when I found out I was a witch. Kai, the sweet and charming boy who is helping me master my powers. Did I forget to mention he's handsome? And then there's Jax. The hot-as-sin badass. They are both tempting as hell, but there are bigger things I have to focus on. Draven will stop at nothing to become the most powerful being of all, and I have to stop him. Even if it costs me my life.

Saved By The Unknown

I decided not to write a p.o.v for Draven.

- Kyomi

I woke up with a pounding headache. My head felt like it had been used as a drum for the last 5 months.

I looked around the room, trying to figure out where I was, but I couldn't tell. Nothing looked familiar. I saw a silhouette and immediately put my head back on the cushion. The silhouette moved closer to me, and I realized that it was a guy. His body was sculpted with muscles. He had a firm jawline, a low fade, and the hair on the top was styled to the side of his head

I couldn't see his face, but I could hear his voice, and he didn't seem pleased.

"We have to help her," he said in a low voice.

"I understand your concern, but do you know what could happen if we do help her?" a different guy responded.

"Fuck the consequences. She needs help, so we are going to help her. End of story." I warm feeling spread throughout my chest. I don't remember the last time someone actually wanted to help me.

I felt something being injected into my arm - probably a syringe.

"Does that hurt?" the same guy who didn't want to help me asked. I rolled my eyes, but I'm pretty sure he couldn't see that because the room was dark.

"No, it doesn't."

And that was the truth. I've been hurt way worse than a small syringe.

"You're pretty strong, girl," the guy replied. I smirked.

"You learn to be strong when there is no one there for you," I said. Thankfully, my voice didn't falter. He went quiet for a moment and then wrote something down.

"Where am I?" I asked all of a sudden. He didn't reply.

"Excuse me? Where am I?" I said a bit louder. I knew he could hear me, but he wouldn't speak. I tried a different method.

"Imagine you were in my shoes," I said a bit softer than before.

"How would you feel not knowing where you are and no one is willing to tell you? Huh? How would you feel if the day before, you were abused by your own brother who doesn't give a shit what happens to you?" I ask angrily. I quickly suck in a breath. Damn, that was a lot. I didn't mean to tell him about Draven, but it just slipped out.

The guy's mouth formed a thin line.

"I am sorry -"

"Kyomi."

"Right. I am very sorry Kyomi, but I'm afraid I still can't tell you. My boss told me that I'm not allowed to."

My eyelids started to flutter.

"Hey, guy? What was in that strings you injected in me?" I asked, half asleep.

"Don't worry, everything wi-" I didn't hear the end of what he said as everything turned black yet again.
