Mom I Already Have A Wife

Xiao Li slowly opened her eyes and touched the other part of the bed but Du Lixin was not there. She slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes, she looked at herself and saw that she wasn't in the clothes she was wearing before. Du Lixin must have changed it, she thought. She looked at the table close to the bed and saw some food already dished out there, smiled and hurriedly opened them and the sweet aroma hit her right on the face.

"Hmmm he really knows my favourite." She smiled.

She totally forgot about Du Lixin then sat down and started eating. When she was full, she took the drugs she also saw on the table and finally remembered that Du Lixin was not there, she got up then stretched a little then opened the door, entering the office.

Du Lixin removed his gaze from what he was doing when he heard the door opened.

He smiled warmly and said. "Sweetheart you are awake, did you sleep well?"

"Mm." Xiao Li said and sat on the sofa.

"Did you eat the food there and took the drugs?"

"Yes."

"Okay." Du Lixin said and faced his work.

Xiao Li sat for while but noticed that Du Lixin had been glancing at her now and then. She knew that if she keep sitting here, he will get distracted so she decided to leave. She stood up and took her bag from the sofa.

"Du Lixin I'll be going now."

"Why, are you feeling uncomfortable, I'll get someone to change the sofa now." Du Lixin said almost immediately.

Well she was definitely feeling uncomfortable with hm glancing at her now and then.

"No the sofa is okay, I need to go so you can focus on your work because it seems like me staying here will distract you." Xiao Li said softly.

Du Lixin chuckled at her words. "Sweetheart I'll be more distracted when you are not here because your face will keep on appearing in my head so it's better this way at least I'm less distracted now."

"But I will distract you."

"It's alright, what I'm I saying, it will be more distracting when you are there, come sit on my lap, it will be less distracting since I can feel your scent really close." Du Lixin said smile.

Xiao Li didn't move and inch, Du Lixin sighed then got up and walked towards Xiao Li, he carried her in bridal style and walked to his chair. He sat down, placing her on his lap.

"This is more better." He said and faced his work.

Xiao Li just sat there calmly, inhaling his intoxicating scent. God she couldn't feel herself, his scent was too much.

"Du Lixin are you sure I'm not disturbing you?" Xiao Li asked concerned.

"Sweetheart I said...."

Du Lixin couldn't finish his statement when his phone rang.

He looked at the caller's ID and saw that it was his mother calling.

He answered the called and called. "Mom."

His mom soft voice came from the other end. "Du Lixin how have you been, I've been so busy that I haven't had the chance to call you."

"I'm fine mom, how are you doing." Du Lixin said with a calm but stern voice.

"Oh don't talk to your mother in such a tone and also I'm fine and so is your father, how is the company and everything."

"Mom come on, what do you want."

"Can't a mother talk sweetly to her son, must I need something before I can call my son?" She paused and her voice became a little serious. "Du Lixin I also called to talk to you about getting married. You are old enough to get married and I need to see my grandchildren running around the house. I have already picked a girl for the 15th time and I hope you don't refuse her since...."

Du Lixin immediately cut her off. "Mom I already have a wife."

His mom's voice came out immediately with a shock. "What? finally, who is she, why didn't you bring her to us first, and about your disorder, can you cope well with her, is she pretty, I hope she's not too tall, is she..."

"Mom stop it, she's right here and I don't feel disgusted when she cries instead I feel hurt unlike other people and also I can finally feel human emotions when it comes to her."

"Oh I'm so happy, bring her for dinner tonight. Oh I can't wait to see her." His mom said excitedly.

Du Lixin looked her Xiao Li waiting for her answer and she nodded. "Okay Mom will be there tonight, I'm busy now bye."

Du Lixin said and hung up.

"Your mom seems really excited to know that you are married." Xiao Li said.

"I'm sure she's over the moon right now, she's probably asking the maids to make different dishes."

"What if she doesn't like me." Xiao Li said nervously.

"It's alright sweetheart, she'll definitely like you and you also have the qualities of the girl she wants me to get married to." Du Lixin assured.

"I hope so."
