Betrayal

At Tsinghua university, in the girls dormitory, Xiao Li stood beside the door of her room with clenched fists but teary eyes.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing. The girl in the room raises her chin proudly saying. " No wonder Chen Gao left her, she thinks she's beautiful, she thinks every man will dance to her tunes. I was never jealous of her but when I found out she was dating a rich handsome and breath taking guy like Chen Gao, I wasn't able to hold my jealousy."

The other girl in the room didn't seem surprised and just casually asked. " So Zhao Fei how do you manage to make Cheng Gao dance to your tunes and break up with Xiao Li?"

Zhao Fei adjusted her dress then smiled. " It was simple, there was a day he took her shopping and she asked me to them. I was reluctant at first since it's gonna be a couple thing and really awkward but I joined in.

" The way he looked at me on the first day gave me hints, then I thought, why should Xiao Li have someone like this when I can too. I just had to do some really easy tricks to get the guy, seems like he doesn't like Xiao Li that much after all."

The girl patted Xiao Li on the shoulder. " You are hotter and prettier than her so of course you can get any guy you want."

Zhao Fei smiled in achievement. " Xu Yao this is not a big deal, it's actually one of the simplest things I have ever done."

Xiao Li couldn't feel her legs, it was as if they've gone numb. She couldn't believe this, Chen Gao broke up with her few days ago and it was all because of her best friend. The one family she had after her parents died leaving her sister to take care of her. Her sister is a journalist in Japan and doesn't call.

Xiao Li was broke and her school fees was due, she had begged the principal countless times and had been pandoned but now the principal has decided to throw her things out. She called her sister several times but there was no response and now she mustered up the courage to ask Zhao Fei for some money.

The next words she heard made her teary eyes fume in anger.

" Xu Yao can you believe I help that girl with money all the time like I literally feed her. when it comes to shopping, I sponsor her and other stuffs, it's as if her parents left her for me instead. She really stink of bad luck, she got fired from her job, her school fees is due, her boyfriend broke up with her, her sister abandoned her and her parents left her. Am sure her parents souls will really be disappointed for having such a badluck daughter like..."

" Pah"

A heavy slap landed on Zhao Fei's face. Zhao Fei was so fair that the five finger should on her face lie someone rubbed red paint on it.

Zhao Fei looked at Xiao Li with furry eyes and disdain." How dare you, who the hell do you think you are . You are in no standard to slap me."

Xiao Li scoffed the sarcastically said. " Oh miss Fei am so sorry, I wouldn't have slapped you, please forgive me." She looked at Zhao Fei with full hatred then said. " Zhao Fei, I can't believe after being friends with you for ten years since high school, this is what you did to me, you stole my boyfriend. I couldn't care less since he's a jerk anyways. But my problem right now is why do you have to involve my parents."

Xu Yao was surprised by what just happened and decided to ask." Xiao Li, how long have you stood there?"

Xiao Li gave her a cold glare that sent shivers down her veins." I have been there for as long as you guys have been talking."

Zhao Fei said still holding her cheek. " Since you've found out yourself, there's no need saying it to you later."

Xiao Li looked at her and smiled. " Zhao Fei, all I just want to say right now is that our ten years friendship is over, have a nice day."

With that Xiao Li stumped off.

Although she felt betrayed and agitated, she felt more sad that she just cut off every tied she had with Zhao Fei.

That was 10 years of friendship which just went down the drain.

Looking for someone to talk to, she called her other roommate Cheng Hua. The phone rang for sometime before Cheng Hua finally picked up.

" Hello Xiao Li."

" Cheng Hua where are you?"

Cheng Hua's voice went soft hearing the sobbing voice from the other line. " Am at the mall close to the school, Xiao Li what's wrong, your voice doesn't sound too good."

" it's nothing, I'll be there soon." Xiao Li hung up.

Xiao Li walked tiredly on the side road with red and teary eyes. She constantly cleaned her face but the tears kept dropping uncontrollably.

She wasn't gonna trust any one again.

Nor would she love.

Everyone is just the same...heartless and disgusting.

She kept walking tiredly on the road when a car stopped beside her.
