After we signed the Guild form and I sent it directly to the chairman who said he will take care of the rest.

"Can I get a picture?" Soo-Hyun asked just like the last and we all took a photo. And then we discussed the guild personnel and about the gates that we are about to buy and stuff. After all of this talk, I said.

"Let's go out and eat something good." To which they nodded and we went to my new house as the talk shifted to how good I cook and everyone wanted to try. Hae-in called Jin-ah over who was happy about being given a break from school because of the gate that I cleared in the morning.

I just shrugged, my new apartment was in a high-rise building on the top floor it was a good deal so I bought it. The apartment is 150 meters square. 1 bedroom with a king-size bed and 3 bedrooms with queen size beds, 3 bathrooms, and a kitchen. It is on the top floor of a 40-floor building. The view from here is amazing as well.

Everyone is now talking in the living room. As I was cooking food well I wasn't alone.

"My lord I chopped the vegetables," Queresha said.

"Thank you and call me boss remember," I told her as she handed me the vegetables. And we exchanged words as we cooked and Soo-Hyun was taking some photos of me.

"Noona what are you doing? You are distracting them." Jin-ho asked Soo-Hyun who was just taking photos.

"Oh shut up and go away I am doing this for the culture." She said as she took another photo of mine, seriously I don't mind it as long as she is quiet about it.

"You are taking his photo in an apron what type of culture is this?" the poor kid was confused.

"That is why you are still single." She said as I can feel Jin-ho's existence fading away.

Being told by your cousin the reason you are single. Extra emotional damage, very effective.

"Haru, how much is it going to take I am hungry?" Jin-ah said as she jumped on my back Hae-in and Jin-woo are used to it but Jin-ho was shocked.

"H-Hyung what is going on here?" Jin-ho who was revived asked Jin-woo.

"Don't ask me?" Jin-woo just shook his head he has given up at this point.

Soo-Hyun was taking pictures, she isn't taking a lot but the ones she takes are perfect. I guess that's to be expected of a model.

Queresha had a look of understanding as she was nodding as I heard her say.

"As expected of my lord." I just continued cooking food and after half an hour the food was ready.

"Ok let's eat," I said as I placed the food on the dining table.

"Yes." x6

The chairman's office,

"So you followed him into the gate right what do you think of the raid?" Chairman Go asked Jin-Chul

"It wasn't a raid," Jin-Chul said as his face was a little pale as he remembered what happened.

"Wasn't a raid?" Chairman Go asked a little confused.

"The monsters weren't even able to react it was like a fight between an S-rank and a Newborn baby. He finished it all in less than a second." Jin-Chul said as it was a bit hard for him to forget the way he killed those monsters in the cave. So he told what he saw.

"..." Chairman Go didn't say anything as there was sweat on his forehead from what he heard….

"Sigh* You can go back and take a rest." Chairman Go said.

"Thank you, chairman," Jin-Chul said as he went back to rest early today.

"A one-man army and an army in one man, even one of these two can shake the world and we have both of them in the same country. Just what kind of storm brewing underneath." He said as he looked out the window and then went back to sit down.

He sighed heavily as he thought of the Trouble that will be coming in the future. Then continued his work.

After eating everyone went back as they had some work. In the living room, I am sitting down as Jin-ah was resting her head on my lap and Hae-in was sitting to the left as she hugged my arm and Queresha was sitting on the sofa in front.

"Wait a minute, who are you?" Jin-ah asked as she finally remembered about her.

And Hae-in sighed at her antics and I caressed her head she has a habit of forgetting things when she is excited.

"My name is Queresha I am My lord's aid. Are you two My lord's Wives?" Queresha introduced herself with her normal courtesy as she bowed her head a bit and asked a question.

"Um, you can say that," Jin-ah said with a grin.

"I-It I-is a b-bit too early for that," Hae-in said stuttering with a somewhat red face.

"So unnie is fine with being his wife later?" Jin-ah said with a teasing smile.

"Y-You don't T-Tease me," Hae-in said as she pulled jin-ah's ear, and her face was redder.

"AH AH AH, it hurts Unnie," Jin-ah said pitifully as I laughed looking at them

"Well they aren't my wives currently but they will in time," I said as I hugged both of them. As Jin-ah smiled sheepishly and Hae-in was a bit shy as they both hugged me.

Queresha just smiled but the smile seemed a bit sad.

"You are part of the family as well Queresha," I said with a smile, she looked at me in a daze then nodded with a bright smile.

"Yes that is true, you are now part of the family as well," Jin-ah said as she hugged Queresha and Hae-in also joined in then they started talking to each other.

"So where are you from?" Jin-ah started asking questions curiously.

Queresha looked at me as if asking for permission.

Jin-ah and Hae-in saw this and looked at me.

"it's ok if you are fine with it. But before that let me tell them about some things." I said as Hae-in looked at me and asked.

"Is it about those Human-like beasts?" she has always been a smart one.

I nodded and told them about the monarchs and the reason for the gates.

Hae-in was digesting the knowledge and Jin-ah was looking sad.

"What happened to you?" I asked as I patted her head.

"I can't help you with anything?" She said with her head down. Well, it is understandable that she will feel down as she always wanted to help me.

"You can help me but you'll have to work hard for it," I said.

"Is it true?" she looked at me with stars in her eyes and I nodded my head then jumped and hugged me.

"Yay! Thank you." She said as she rubbed her cheeks on mine.

I looked at my status screen and shook my head.

"Ok, Haru you go out we need to talk." Jin-ah hopped down as she said.

"Is it necessary what are you going to talk about anyway?" I asked but she started pushing me towards the door.

"Girls talk. So stay out and come back in 2 hours Ok." She said as she kissed me on my cheek.

"OK," I said as I shook my head and went towards the door and looked at hae-in and said.

"You aren't going to give me a kiss?"

She nodded with a red face as she came near me and gave me a light kiss on my cheek and went back quickly. As Jin-ah closed the door I shook my head.

'To be kicked out of your house on the first day. Well, whatever it will be an eventful day for sure.' I said as I looked at my phone that had some messages from Kanae and Chairman Go.

"The game is on." I smiled as I walked down the streets.

Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.

A gloomy shadow was being cast on the busiest, liveliest avenue in Tokyo, the one often referred to as the beating heart of Japan. That wasn't a simple figure of speech, though.

Every single car, bicycle, and person – didn't matter who or what, they were all standing still beneath this massive shade cast over them.

People began climbing out from their stopped vehicles one by one. The road was becoming uncontrollably clogged up, but no one honked their horns or yelled out in irritation.

It was as if everyone here had been bewitched by an unseen force.

Every single gaze was directed to one particular spot.

"Oh, my god..."

"Dear Lord...."

There was a Gate so huge that it blocked out the sky to cast an enormous shade onto the ground below.

The people below saw this common-sense-shattering Gate that easily matched a regular skyscraper in sheer size, and fell deep into the state of indescribable shock.

"...."

"....."

The avenue once bustling with overflowing people was now being gripped tighter and tighter by a silence so wretched that it almost induced some of the witnesses to start vomiting.

The atmosphere in the Japanese Prime Minister's official residence was rather poor, as well.

Slam!

The Prime Minister couldn't hold back his rising tide of anger and threw the remote control hard at the TV busy showing the breaking news.

"P-Prime Minister!"

His adjutants hurriedly got up, but they shut their mouths and sat back down once the Prime Minister's dagger-like eyes landed on them.

"Why isn't the Hunter's Association saying anything?"

The President of the Japanese Hunter's Association, Matsumoto Shigeo, weakly lowered his head.

The Prime Minister's expression hardened.

"God d*mn it...."

Something that horrifying had appeared in the middle of Tokyo, yet the Association who should be in charge of such things, were keeping their mouths shut?!

"An S-rank Gate has appeared right in the heart of Tokyo! But, do you think it makes any sort of sense for the Association to not have a single countermeasure in place? How??"

The Prime Minister cried out in anguish.

Unfortunately for him, everyone present kept their mouths shut as if they had agreed to do so beforehand. It was clear as they have seen the Broadcast of the Jeju raid and those ants that appeared without any warning. Then those Human-like beasts whose powers were still not determined so they knew how many uncertainties an S-Rank gate has and The Prime Minister's expression crumpled unsightly, like a man carrying the weight of all the suffering found in this world before he collapsed down onto his chair.

"Be honest with me, Association President."

He then pointed at the cracked TV screen.

"What will happen if that thing opens upon us?"

".....It'll be the end, sir."

As he thought – the Prime Minister hugged his head and muttered out helplessly.

"So, that's how it is..... Just one Gate and the city of Tokyo is finished, is that it?"

"That's not what I'm saying, Prime Minister."

"....?"

The Prime Minister raised his head to look, and Association President Matsumoto Shigeo continued with an emotionless voice.

"I meant to say that the entirety of Japan will be finished, sir."
