Chapter 78 The reunion

Blaze stood numb, staring at his parents. He had difficulty believing that he was seeing them after more than ten years. Bitter-sweet memories of the past rushed into his mind, making him restless.

"Father…" Dario approached his father and hugged him. "Mum…" He then hugged his mother. "How are you?"

"I am fine. How are you doing?" Edith, his mother, cracked a grin.

"We are all doing well." Dario returned her smile. "Meet my wife, Erica." He motioned for Erica to come in closer.

Erica approached Edith with a cheerful expression on her face. "Mum…" She embraced her.

"I am delighted to see you."

"How is your health?" Erica asked.

"Oh, I am doing well now." Edith chuckled, her gaze moving towards Blaze. She stretched her arms wide. "Come here."

Blaze approached her one step at a time. He was still in a state of shock.

"Blaze…" Edith stood up and took him in her embrace, tears welling up in her eyes. "I miss you."
