[Cleethor; A huge city far from Aramoor]

From an aired view one could see that the city was in a state of emergency, "My king I don't think our adventurers will be able to hold the monsters off any longer" one of the king's royal guards stated reflecting that a total of One hundred and fifty adventurers were injured while fifty more were dead and that the monsters had already made their way through one the first force field cast by the mages, three more and they'll make it to the castle. King Abe Kurayami quickly wrote a letter and ordered that the guard should be safely accompanied to Aramoor by two Brank adventurers till the letter had been delivered to the king.

*The 30th Floor*

"Arrrrrgh" Souta screamed filled with rage after the previous incident that happened last time killing every single monster that charged towards him till finally, he fell on his knees "I killed humans" he stared at his hands, suddenly he is confronted by the phoenix king, the boss of the 30th floor

The Crimson demons had just finished raiding when suddenly they saw a knight and two adventurers being chased by monsters heading for Aramoor, Kuro walked past the riders and approached the monsters with his Spear. As soon as they leapt at Kuro, his spear began to spin on it's own faster than the human eyes could see cutting all the monsters pieces, Mai gave a riled-up smile while staring at Kuro.

Kuro questioned the riders on what happened and why they were here but they requested to see the king at once, as soon as they made it to the palace they handed the letter over to the king explaining the current situation over in Cleethor while requesting for their city's assistance. The following day a guild meeting was held, all the guilds masters along with two of their highest ranking subordinates had attended to discuss the current task they were faced with and how they would deal with it, Hina attended with Souta and Akiko who were currently the only members she had.

Souta was recommended by Kuro to join the attack force heading to Cleethor but is turned down by Souta himself, "Sorry but Cleethor can go to hell for all I care" Souta cursed walking out of the meeting room when suddenly Daiki a member of the North start grabbed him by the shoulder, Souta looked back at him releasing a vice aura while staring at him with rage in his eyes.

"Bastard, you wanna go" Daiki asked pulling out his blade

"Sure, it might even help me cool off a bit" Souta replied while approaching slowly, Mai knowing that Daiki wouldn't last a second against the current Souta quickly stops the both of them by claiming that Souta wasn't feeling well so he wasn't thinking clearly.

All the adventurers were finally ready to depart and left for their mission named operation to retake Cleethor; since Souta didn't depart with them Akiko went in his place. After a few days, they finally made it to Cleethor which was down to their last two barriers.

Aramoor deployed their mages with Akiko as the leader, they speedily set up a few more barriers adding to the ones Cleethor had, the healing squad began to heal the injured and tend to civilians while the attack squad led by Kuro focused on defeating the monsters that came out of the dungeon, the battle went on for almost six hours with no victor nor vanquished.

*Back in Aramoor*

Hina searched for Souta for a few hours only to find him at the edge of a cliff with water below it sitting on his own, Hina approached him and sat next to him and asked why he didn't want to take part in the raid at Cleethor.

At first, Souta was a bit reluctant to talk but finally narrates to Hina that when he was little the soldiers of Cleethor would come to Dornwich his previous home town stripping them of everything they had and that if the person had nothing to offer they would either beat the person up, damage his or her properties or exact their anger on members of the family by beating their families and each time his grandfather would try to get involved they'd threaten to kill civilian so Souta had hated Cleethor since he was little.

Souta about to sob is hugged by Hina who tells him that sometimes he has to let go of the past and that no matter how hard he'd try he won't be able to change the past so if he keeps dwelling on the past it'll keep eating his life away so he'd need to let it go. "Thanks Miss Hina" he appreciated and tells her that he had somewhere to be, Souta ran and leapt off the cliff. Hina is shocked and runs to check on Souta only for him to float back to the surface.

"How the hell are you flying" she asked looking surprised.

"It's the new ability I obtained after killing the boss of the 30th floor" Souta stated wobbling in mid-air

"You would have told me earlier, you almost gave me a heart attack" she pouted "also you sure you good" she stared at Souta knowing fully well he had zero flight experience

"Don't worry too much it can't be that h-----" he unintentionally blitzed off

"Yup I'm definitely worried" Hina stared in the direction he flew off to

*Back at Cleethor*

The whole squad was fighting at their best trying to hold off all the monsters when suddenly the mages detected and announced to all the adventurers that something heading straight for them at a very high speed

"What the hell is it" Kuro asked

"Unknown Sir it should impact soon"

"FULLBACK!!!!!!" Kuro screamed "All mages put everything you've got into the barrier"

"That's-----" Akiko realised and called out to Mai who stood her ground in the middle of the battlefield with her arms wide open and received the huge impact

the cloud of dust slowly cleared up only to see Souta in Mai's arms; "Souta!!" she screamed "where the hell did you come from"

"The sky, also---" He paused "nice catch" he gave her a thumbs up before throwing up
