Are You Talking To Me?

"And lastly, you just need this form and you will be good to go." The desk nurse then informed Andrea as she handed in a pink form.

Andrea straight away signed off the form as she handed the paper back to the nurse with thanks. Four days after Andrea woke up, the doctor gave his approval for her to be discharged. And today is the day she's finally getting out.

"So what are you gonna do now?"

Theo asked out of nowhere after he retrieved Andrea's suitcase ,the one she had brought before the accident, as they were walking side by side through the wide corridor.

"If my past self decided to escape and run away, then maybe I should do that. There is no point in vengeance on someone I don't even remember." Andrea answered nonchalantly with a blank look on her face.

Upon hearing her unconcerned response, Theo gave an exasperated sigh as his shoulders drooped down while dragging the suitcase, "Although I would like to see that asshole suffer, if that's your final decision then I will support you…"

He responded though his tone did sound a bit disappointing. He must be itching to get back with that person. Andrea then remembered the conversation they had a few days ago which made her think a lot.

….

"It all started when you married Keith Albrecht." Theo said in a serious expression and tone of voice.

Upon hearing that, Andrea was not surprised. After she woke up yesterday, she noticed a ring mark on her left ring finger. And from the looks of it, it looked like it was taken off a few days ago. But still, Andrea acted clueless for her own interest.

"So I have a husband?" She raised a question as she slightly tilted her head with an oblivious expression on her face.

Hearing her innocent question, Theo groaned upon knowing the fact that she married that man. "Ex-husband, to be exact. On the day of the accident, you finally made up your mind and signed the divorced papers that bastard has been forcing you to sign."

Theo continued, being empathetic as he did so, as he furrowed his brows causing his forehead to crease. It was clear that Theo hated her ex-husband just seeing his facial expression and tone of voice.

With that being said, Andrea shifted her line of sight down as a lot of things were running through her head. Using her usual calm expression, she then whispered under her breath.

"I see. So that's how it is…"

.....

Recalling that conversation they had, Andrea was able to finally put into ease upon knowing her main dilemma beforehand. Although Andrea was quite curious who that person is, she doubts that they will cross paths again knowing that she has no recollection of his face and that ex-husband of his, according to Theo, hates her. With Theo by her side as they stepped outside the hospital, Andrea heaved a deep breath upon finally being able to go outside of that establishment after a couple of days of laying on the bed.

"God, what an idiot!"

Out of nowhere, Theo exclaimed out of frustration after they walked down the stairs from the hospital's main entrance. With that, Andrea swiftly turned her head to Theo who has an irritated look on his face as he aggressively ruffles his light copper colored hair.

"What's wrong?" Andrea asked out of curiosity.

Upon hearing her question, Theo groaned as his shoulders drooped down before he answered in a weary tone of voice. "I forgot my phone in the room. Wait here, I'll be back in a second,"

He then gave the small maroon luggage to Andrea as he started jogging back at the main entrance with heavy steps on the way. With that, Andrea just watches as her friend strides away from her.

With that, Andrea has a few minutes for herself to admire the surroundings outside. The loud noises of the buses, the chatter of a businessman on his phone, and the heat of the sun that shone upon her face made Andrea think that this is all real. She is truly alive. Who would have thought just a few days ago, she was in a critical condition due to what they suspected as a suicide attempt. Looking up with a hand covering her eyes from the rays of the blazing afternoon sun, Andrea had a thought to herself. Even after knowing that information from Theo, Andrea still felt empty. But for some reason after knowing the situation she's in, she felt like she knew all of this well. It was unexplainable. As if she was living on someone else's shoe. As if she was reading someone else's story. She frowned upon these juggling and contradicting thoughts in her head.

As she was waiting in the shade ,sitting on a bench under a tree; a deep male voice spoke.

"Ugh, look at yourself. You look like hell."

With that, Andrea right away turned her head to the owner of the deep and cold voice. She then locked eyes on a respectable and rich looking man with a big build. For a moment, Andrea blinked her eyes as she turned her head to the other side. Looking for another person he might be referring to.

But it was just her alone on his line of side. She turned her attention back at the male with an appalled expression on her face.

'Is he talking to me?'
