What's Going On?

Today is my first day at my new school, in a new country and I feel the winds are hearing me. Oh gosh I'm late for school, I just arrived at US this morning and dad said I should also resume today ... I don't really know why but I have to co-operate. People say the school is for the rich and luckily I'm part of the rich
"Hey, what are you waiting for?" A voice interrupted me and I turned to see Dad smiling brightly at me
"I've discussed with your uncle so all you have to do is go in and behave yourself... Make sure you don't break the school rules" he said and I nodded before turning to leave but he held me back and pulled my to himself
"Most importantly, do not blab out rubbish and don't tell anyone that Mr Waylon is your uncle... If I hear any complain you'll be in big trouble" Dad whispered and I rolled my eyes before nodded. I've been hearing this for over a year now but he has refuse to tell me why.... I feel they are hiding something from me
Just then my uncle came out from the second stairs and I comported myself while Dad made eye contact with him before leaving. Mr Waylon smiled at me before signalling on a lady who was about climbing the stairs
"Hey Miss Abigail... Please take this new girl to her class" My uncle ordered and I bowed a little before following the lady
"Hello what's your name and which grade are you?" The lady asked as we walked through a corridor filled with classes
"I'm Thonia Hardison, grade 12 class B" I replied with a bright smile and just then we got to a class and she entered while I waited outside for her
"Attention everyone" she said as she walked to the middle of the class. I looked into the class and saw a guy raising up his hand
"Yes... How can I help you cutie" Miss Abigail asked him and he stood up with a bright smile. "OMG.... He's so hot with his cute Babyface and dimples" I muttered as I stated at him and just then my eyes captured the blondie beside him. Oh gosh he's damn cute with his blonde hair. I was carried away with their beauty until someone tapped me on my shoulders
"Hey Thonia can you please come in with me" Miss Abigail said and I woke up from my dream world then I followed her behind as we entered the class and suddenly there was this weird silence that gave me goosebumps all over my body
"So this is your newest classmates... Can you please introduce yourself to the class" Miss Abigail said and I nodded as I scanned everyone faced before clearing my throat
"My name is Thonia Hardison and I hope we all can be friends" I said clearly and some nodded while others murmur among themselves
"Please did you just say Thonia?... Like ... Thonia Hardison??" A girl asked with a surprised face and I nodded
"Do you have a problem with that?" I asked curiously but she shook her head before looking away.
Miss Abigail directed me to a seat and immediately she started lecture after introducing herself to the class. The Agricultural class lasted for 50 minutes, although it was fun but 50 minutes is damn too long for just one course
"Before I leave, you guys will be doing a presentation next week, I'll be dividing the class into 5 groups, we'll go for an excursion, so your presentation will be base on the excursion... And the excursion will be this Friday... We're going to Spring Life Garden" she said as she packed some textbooks and laptop from the desk while some student groan when they heard Spring Life Garden
"Spring Life Garden is the perfect place to see various insects and animals" a brown hair girl said as she smiled brightly.
Miss Abigail packed her stuff and left the class. I quickly packed my books into my back, ideas about standing up when two guys came to meet me
"Hey Thonia you look cute" one of them said and I gave him a fake smile before walking out on them.
Forte
As soon as class ended, I took my bag and left the class. I don't want to get on Mrs Bianca's bad side today so I must make sure I don't get there late. I came out of the the school and met Angella and her friends discussibg
"I just hope I don't fall in the same group with nerds like Francisca, Frank, Jerome and the rest, especially Frank, he's a bookworm and will want to force everyone to be like him... Please I don't want to stress my brain this new session" Angella friend said and and I smirked before boarding a cab.
I got to my work place and I met customers waiting to be served. I've been working here for two years now after my dad got shot on his leg and he wasn't able to cater for the family again cause his leg got amputated. So I engage in part time jobs to gather money for my fees and to take care of my little ones while mom took care of her husband.
"Hey Forty, you are here, you need to get to work now, it's almost rushing hour" Mrs Bianca said as she gave me a quick smile and i returned it with a bright smileas I ran to the dressing room, changed my clothes and went to the kitchen
"Hey Forte your phone is ringing" Harvard said as he brought the phone to where I was standing. I checked the name and found out it was my little sister
"Hey sweetie, what's wrong?" I asked as soon as I picked the call. She complained of her classmates bullying her and calling her weird names because she has a weird skin disease, although the doctor said it's not contagious but her classmates still think the skin illness is contagious. I told her to come to my workplace before hanging up on her. I went out to serve the empty tables
"Hey Forte!" I heard my sister's voice as I was about heading back to the kitchen. She was smiling brightly as she ran towards me and hugged me tightly
"Quit playing and attend to the customer before Mrs Bianca comes back" Harvard advised and I nodded. I took my little sister to a table before going back to attend to other customers
"Go get yourself sandwich and Fruity drink" I said handing her my credit card and she took it and left

*What did you tell Sam?
*Hmmmm... Like I was just... I didn't say anything... I was just crying and she met me...
Just shut your fucking mouth and come here right now you silly bitch" Mom said before hanging up. I breath out and sat down on a bench waiting for the next bus, I just had to manage my money cause I'm not sure dad will give me another money if this one finishes
"Gosh I'm so hungry" I said holding my grumbling stomach
"Hey are you hungry?" A little girl asked. I looked at her face and noticed she has skin disease, she was hold a sandwich and Fruity drink
"Huh....ehmmm... I mean no, I'm just feeling tired and weak" I replied her as I shifted from her just in case the skin disease is contagious
"Hey don't be shy, let's share it together..." She was still talking when she heard a voice and she looked back
"Rica! Rica!" A guy shouted as he ran towards where we were sitting
"Brother?" She said as she stood up when her brother got to where she was sitting
"You forgot your cab fee" he said handing her some money and she hugged him
"See... I've made a new friend" the little girl said pointing at me and I just stood uo when I noticed the next bus was very close
"Elsa?" Forte called my name but I ignored him and his sister as I stopped the bus and entered it. The ride was pretty fast and I got home on time
Mom! Mom! I'm home" I said as I entered the house
"How dare you hurt my baby" I heard Mom's voice and i turned to face her but unfortunately she landed a slap on my face
"Mom" I shouted in surprise as tears ran down my cheek. I held my face trying to figure out what was actually going on cause I'm so confused right now
"Don't you ever call me your Mum again, silly bitch" she said as she pushed me out of her sight and I landed my butt on the floor
"I don't even know the crime I've committed" I muttered but luckily she heard it cause she paused and face me
"Don't you ever cry in front of Sam again" she said before walking away. I was about responding when the door opened and Sam walked in with her school bag
"Elsa.... Why are you in the floor crying?" She asked and u just gave her a reassuring smile as I stood up
"I just my leg on the table so I lost balance and fell"I said trying to hold back my tears but just then she noticed the redness of my cheek and I quickly ran upstairs before she asked a question I can't answer.
