Getting to the living room, Rui who had just came home found his mother holding the teacup while talking to the boisterous young man in front of her. YuEn noticed his presence almost immediately and his eyes sharply darted to Rui. He let his guard down only after he had made sure that the one who had been looking for him is simply the young master of the house.
"Rui," Wu SuYi's lips softened upon seeing her baby son's figure. She walked toward him and reached out her hand to his head, "How was school, darling?"
"It was fun!" Rui said gleefully, "Don't worry mommy, Mr Jang wasn't there today."
Wu SuYi rubbed her cheeks hearing how Rui had assured her of her worries. She bent her knees and picked him up, bringing him to sit at her seat, "Mommy knows that Rui is smart. If Rui says Mr Jang is a good person, then mommy believe that but if he ever, ever, does anything that hurt you, don't fail to tell mommy about this okay?"
