With no space to run too, the only thing the receptionist could do was to nod her head and followed what Isiah ordered. She feared that if she disobeyed him the person who will suffer the most would be no other but her as Isiah was a man with such a big build and a frightening face as if he had just stepped out from a war zone.
"B- But… Senior Mr Wu isn't here at the moment," the woman stuttered, holding to her hand as if she was holding to her dead life that will soon flash before her eyes.
"You're not lying?" Isiah interrogated the receptionist who nodded her head as though her life was depending on it.
"When will he come back?" Wu SuYi inquired. She would have stopped Isiah and his aggressiveness but she didn't see why she should stop him anymore knowing just how much the receptionist was more aggressive to her before when she was still younger.
She also remembered how the woman had called her dirty and unwanted.
