Will you marry me?

Samantha coughed intentionally and laughed out aloud. She found it funny that her father had threatened the god of mafias.

" Now you're laughing at me?" Alexander frowned jokingly.

"I thought you were on my side." He grumbled and pretended to be hurt by touching his chest dramatically.

" It sounds so funny, I can't help it." She laughed even more. Alexander's heart melted into a puddle as he watched his beloved laughing out helplessly.

He recalled admiring her laughter from afar when they were not that close. The mafia leader wished that he could one day make her laugh the same way Leonard and Edward did.

A smile settled on his features when he recalled his wishes. They had come true just the way he had wished for.

The mafia leader pulled her into his warm embrace and inhaled her intoxicating scent just to make sure it was not a dream.
