Chapter 5

~Vanessa~

When we were running we were also talking. We went so to a place where the sight that is so beautiful.

"This is so pretty," I said. "It is and I think I will come back sometime," Daniel said. "Me too," Henry said. "Do you want to start going to the house," Daniel said. "Yeah let's start going," Henry said. "I think that I would stay here for a little while longer." "Okay," they both said at the same.

When they left I shifted in my human form and went into the water finding it relaxing. After about 10 minutes I went to dry myself and started to head home. When I was walking home I started to hear that someone was following me. I didn't really care about it but then I started to think about it. I went running to the house and not turning back to see who it was. When I entered the house I was breathing fast and trying to control my breathing. I went to the room that my items were at.

"Hey, your good?" my brother Daniel said through the mind link.

"Yeah, just something that happened in the forest." "Was it him," he said trying to keep me calm. "No." "Then what was it." "I don't know I didn't see it or whatever it was." "Okay then stay safe." "I'm in the house," I said laughing through the link. "Okay, see you time to sleep. You better sleep," he said cutting the link.

After that happened I went to the balcony to look at the stars. When I was starting to feel sleepy I went to the bed to sleep.

~The Next Day~

Today is the day that it might change everything for me. But I don't want to leave my friends and family I'm scared if they find out that I kept something from them. I went downstairs to eat breakfast and after breakfast, I went to take a shower. When finishing drying my hair I went to get ready for the rest of the day.

~A Few Minutes Later~

After I was finished with everything I went to look at myself in the mirror.

I wore a light pink dress that has fluff and around my chest it is a heart shape. My hair curled in a wavy from and a not so tight braid on the left side of my head. With makeup I have a some what nude eyeshadow with some shadow and a not so pink but pink enough lipstick. I have also decided to wear some earrings, a necklace, and a ring.

After that, I went downstairs to see my brothers in a suit.

My brothers wearing their suit, Daniel wear a deep maroon with a bow tie and Henry is also wearing a deep royal blue.

"You both look fancy."

"So you do," Daniel said.

"Where are parents?"

"I think they are going here in like 2 minutes," Henry said.

We talked for a few minutes and then we heard them coming down.

Mom is wearing a dress that shows her body also the color being as mine but hers has shimmer. Dad on the other hand is wearing a black suit. And a bow tie too.

"You children look wonderful," my Mom said.

"So do you Mom," I said.

"Thanks, honey," she said while I looked down.

"Is something wrong V," my Dad said while I looked a Daniel.

"Are you going to tell them about him," Daniel said.

"Yeah," I said in a sad voice.

I breathe in ready to say the words.

"Mom... Dad... I have to tell you something," I said.

"What is it, did someone do something bad and if they did I'm goi..." I cut into his sentence before finishing it.

"No, it's just something else that happens."

"Then what is it," my Mom said in a worried voice.

"I uh I.. I met my mate," I said whispering it.

"Why didn't you tell us, did he reject you," my Dad said getting angry and I thinking on how Daniel did the same reaction.

"No, he didn't."

"Then why are you, sad sweetie you should be happy," my Mom said. I could feel some tears building up a bit I brushed it off and I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Daniel.

"Who is it," dad said while growling.

"The... The...-"

"Just say it, Essa," Daniel said while my parents looked at us confused.

"It's... It's the king," when I said who it was they gasped.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier," my Mom said.

"I didn't say because I was nervous and I was the reason that he had to make this happen. I don't want to leave you guys also."

"Okay we are going to this ball but please be normal and stay calm," my Mom said trying to calm everybody else.

"Okay, let's start heading there, everything will be fine V," Dad said helping me stay calmed down.

After getting there the place was so big. This place having chandelier's in ever location of where they could be spotted.

We went to the place where we could sit down. I was so nervous that I didn't realize that my friends were here.

"Jasmin you look amazing." She a wearing a floral dress not to simple but in a formal look and wearing long earrings of flower petals.

"And so do you Sofia." Wearing a red dress and some gems around the waist.

"Thank you, you don't look so bad yourself," Jasmin said smiling.

"Do you guy want to walk around," Sofia said.

"Sure just let me tell my parents," after telling my parents they agreed that I could go with my friends.

"Where exactly are we going."

"Somewhere," Jasmin said.

"Do know where we are going Sofia," I said in a whisper.

"I think I know but I'm not sure."

I gave them a suspicions look. After 5 minutes we entered a place that I didn't recognize not that I have been here ever. We have entered a small garden that is surrounded by flowers and there is even a couch with pillows.

"Where are we," Jasmin.

"Try to guess," she said while I was thinking where we are at.

"I don't know just tell me."

"We are in a secret garden."

"Why are we here Jasmin," Sofia asked.

"I just wanted you guys, to meet someone, if that's okay with you?"

"Of course it's okay to show us anything," I said.

"You can come out now," she half-whispered it and screamed it.

A girl with a red dress that fit her so well, also with proper manners making her look stunning. Having red lips and curly hair as well.

"So these are the people you wanted me to meet," the person said.

"Yes, these are my friends," Jasmin said pointing to us while she said our names.

"Nice to meet you all, my name is Hope."

"I love your name it's so cute," I said.

"Thank you," she said.

"Wait, why are we here anyway," Sofia said.

"Just wanted to show you around the place. Also, did you know that Hope is the royal princess?" Jasmin said.

"She is, well that's good to know," I say not knowing how this person is to me now.

"I think we should start heading back to the ballroom," Sofia said.

"Yeah, who do you think the King's mate is," Jasmin said.

"We are going to have to wait to see who it is and it better not be a slutty bitch," Sofia said while the rest of us laughed not even thinking about that, that person would me.
