Chapter 3: Forming the Squad (Part 3)

It was 12:00 in the afternoon. We only had 12 more hours to explore the Wild Area. As we continued exploring, I heard faint crying coming from a log in a Dappled Grove. We followed the crying to find two little girl Eevees and a dead Vaporeon.

Then, the little Eevees saw us and cried.

"Hey there. What's the matter?" I asked them in a soft voice.

"Mister... Please help us... Our mommy isn't breathing." the older Eevee sibling told me, crying even more with her sister.

Then, I put my fingers on the Vaporeon mother's neck for a pulse. There was not a pulse. At that moment, I knew exactly what to do.

"Mom? In my bag is a Max Revive. Can you get it for me?" I asked Mollie.

"Sure, Sweetie." Mollie answered me.

I put my backpack on the ground and Mollie dug through it to find a Max Revive and gave it to me.

Then, I used the Max Revive on the dead Vaporeon. At that moment, the Vaporeon began to wake up.

"What? Where am I? Who are you?" the Vaporeon mother asked me.

"Mommy!" the Eevee daughters cried with joy, hugging their mother.

"Who are you?" the Vaporeon asked me.

"I'm Michael. Nice to meet you Mrs.?" I introduced myself.

"I'm Lapis. And these are my daughters, Leaf and Lazuli." Lapis introduced her family.

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Lapis." I said.

"No, Darling. Call me 'Aunt' Lapis." Lapis told me.

I blush a little. "O-Okay, Aunt Lapis." I said.

"I'm Crystal, Michael's boyfriend!" Crystal said.

"I'm Speed." Speed said.

"I'm Flare." Flare said.

"I'm Mollie." Mollie said.

"I'm Jin." Jin said.

"I'm Ralph." Ralph said.

"I'm Dawn." Dawn said.

"I'm Pearl." Pearl said.

"I'm Blaze." Blaze said.

"Yo! I'm Brian." Brian said.

"I'm Rin." Rin said.

"I'm Bolt." Bolt said.

"I'm Axel!" Axel said.

After my family was done introducing themselves, Lapis, Leaf and Lazuli joined our family!

"Hey, Leaf? What do you and your sister want to evolve into?" I asked Leaf.

"I want to be what my mom wants me to be: a Leafeon! Lazuli wants to be a Glaceon too!" Leaf answered me.

Then, I saw two stones sticking out of the ground. I walked to the stones to find a Leaf Stone and an Ice Stone! "Hey, Leaf! Lazuli! I found what both of you need to evolve!" I called Leaf and Lazuli over.

"Are you both ready to evolve?" I asked Leaf and Lazuli.

"Yes, Mike!" Leaf answered.

"I am ready, Michael." Lazuli answered.

I gave Leaf the Leaf Stone and she started to evolve! After she was done evolving, she was no longer an Eevee. She was now a Leafeon! Leaf's body was tan with dark brown paws. She had several green sprouts growing all over her with the longest one on her head, in front of four tan tufts of fur. Leaf's ears and tail had a leafy appearance. She had brown eyes and a small, brown nose. Her cellular structure is similar to plants, which allows her to perform photosynthesis and purify the air around her by sleeping under patches of sunshine!

"Oh my god, Leaf!" Lapis said, hugging her newly evolved daughter. "I am SO proud of you!"

"Thanks, Mom." Leaf said to Lapis.

"Hey, look. Female me!" Brian said.

"Brian!" Blaze scolded him.

"What? It's another Leafeon." Brian said.

"It's Lazuli's turn now." I said.

I gave Lazuli the Ice Stone and she began evolving! After evolving, Lazuli was no longer an Eevee. She was a Glaceon! She was a Glaceon! She was covered in light-blue fur that can be frozen into sharp quills. She had long, pointed ears, dark eyes, and a small nose. A teal crest with two dangling flaps adorn her head, resembling hair or headgear. She also had two dark blue, rhombus-shaped markings on her back; the tip of her tail, feet, and flaps are the same shade of blue.

"Ooh! Lazuli! You look beautiful!" Lapis said to Lazuli.

After Leaf and Lazuli's evolution, Speed and Flare started to blush at them. "Wow, Lazuli. You look very beautiful." Speed told Lazuli.

"Thank you, Speed." Lazuli told Speed, blushing a lot.

"Wow, Leaf, you also look very beautiful." Flare told Leaf.

Leaf blushes a lot. "Awww. Thanks, Flare." Leaf told Flare.

"Aunt Lapis?" I asked Lapis.

"Yes, Michael?" Lapis replied.

"Why were you dead before we met?" I asked.

"Well, I was killed by my husband, Alfred. We had a big argument, and he had enough. So, he burned my chest and killed me." Lapis answered me.

"What Pokémon is Alfred?" I asked.

"Umm. He's an Arcanine." Lapis said.

Then, I began to remember that Arcanine that shot us a mean look at us at the Gym Challenge registration!

"Also, he burned my eyes, so I can't see well." Lapis said crying.

"Wait." I told Lapis. I dug in my backpack and found a pair of glasses and gave them to Lapis.

Then, Lapis put the glasses on and she could see!

"Oh! I can see now! Thank you so much, Michael!" Lapis said, hugging me.

"You're welcome, Aunt Lapis. You know, those are my grandmother's special glasses." I told Lapis.

"Oh. Are they?" Lapis asked.

"Yes they are." I said.

Lapis noticed Crystal's belly. "Crystal?! Are you pregnant?!" she asked.

"Yes. Aunt Lapis. Thanks to Michael." Crystal told Lapis.

"Is it a boy or girl?" Lapis asked.

"Michael and I don't know yet." Crystal answered.

After Lapis, Leaf and Lazuli joined my family, we continued to explore the Wild Area.
